LineageOS 19.1 [S] [12.1] (Unofficial) Mi Pad 4 Plus (clover+)

20211129 on my clover is a big leap forward. The lockscreen has a padlock instead of a dot, the microphone now works in Duolingo. My LTE data sim is working at full speed. My only issue is Google assitant it not working but that might need NikGapps Full rather than basic. I do not care as I do not use assistant. Duo voice and video calls work. GPS, WiFi, aptX are all functioning.

Just did a dirty flash from latest 18.1 to the latest 19.0 build with Nikigapp 20211018 basic and magisk v23 via TWRP. And now the night light is working and v19.0 is surprisingly fast. However, the only problem I'm facing is that the Google assistant isn't working and it keeps on crashing. Hope that it will solve in future.

Oh one more question, not sure if it's an issue or not. When using the Google app, the border (left and right side) seems to be very ”thick” or it doesn't fill up the entire screen. Pls see attached pic. Any idea how to fill up the sides?

If I swipe left to get to Google I get a display like yours. I have always thought that has thicker borders because the app itself is designed for phones and not tablets. Was it wider in 18.1? When you open the same thing from the Google icon the top and bottom are right across the screen, but the content is still narrow. On my phone the borders are narrow but still visible and the aspect ratio of each entry is the same.

Google assistant does not work for me too. Has anyone tried using NikGapps Full?

BTW try to clear data and un-install Google and Chrome - then install them again.

Can you send the log after google assistant crash?
I will check about the border, it may related to highaspect ratio overlay.

I don't know what happened. Yesterday i tried clear data and uninstall/install Chrome and nothing changed so i went to sleep. Today IS everything working Like a charm, Google, Chrome, search in Google..... If it Will happen again, i'll post The log

On v18.1, it will almost fill up the whole screen with very thin border just like on mobile phone.

I'm not using TWRP v3.6.0_9 but v3.5.2_9. not sure if the latest version works well. However, on my mi pad 4 plus, it too shows as mi pad 4. I don't think that's any issue or problem.

Check my prev post.. I said the only different of clover and clover+ is density screen, nothing else.

There is no permission to set but I just changed to extract all logs as attached.
