Hi, about flashing magisk apk, how can I do it if TWRP does not show the apk file in install section? I am using TWRP 3.5.0_9-0 .

Find the install apk button or manually change the extention from .apk to .zip
I have tested the rom and can say that, at the moment, don't want to root my device seen that I use it only for reading books and watching videos.
The Aurora store is pretty good and, for me, is useful as the Play Store.
I hope, but i am sure , you can solve the problem about the random reboots and I want to thank you for your incredible job, considering I can use a device I bought 12 years ago.

Unearthed my broken N8000, ordered a replacement motherboard from AliExpress, they sent a N8010 board still installed it (got my AU$25 refunded) installed this rom used microg. Great, rare reboots, had to use Gmail as the only mail app that allowed access to my Gmail account and had to spoof titanium to get around licensed check.

Just a query, ai am having trouble with fox's magisk module....Magisk grants su but the app says it is refused su, running magisk 24.1 with quiet a few modules. Anybody else have this issue?
Wow, I would upgrade from LOS 16 to LOS 20 just for the new kernel (I could update my Ubuntu chroot image from 15.10 to the new versions
). Is there any way to know what the kernel issues are at this point? Is the S-Pen working?

There are pretty the same issues as in the 3.0.101 version + disabled audio jack at the moment.

Are you sure that your magisk, installation works correctly?
Is SU working at all?
I let the tablet format the flash card, it chose exFAT, which is weird. It was already in that format, I don't know what he didn't like, maybe the size of the block...

On my ng8000 sadly I am not able to complete the steps you have suggested:
General system stability also goes to very low. In general this build is slower and less responsive then 19.1 but after microG instllation its extremely slow.
Tried newest migroG and microG Installer Revived 2.6.3-0 both with the same result.
Wiped and redone los20 and tried BitGapps13 same result.
In general I would say there is something wrong as the file app just sometimes doesnt open for no reason. Magisk hungs randomly and I have to reboot all the time.
From minor things keyboard doesnt work post LOS20 install until I go to settings and manually select physical English US and reboot the tablet. Wifi is taking forever to connect despite me sitting next to the router/wifi.
Nothing like that happens on 19.1 so I went and installed that and it was smooth sailing.
Big thanks again. I really appreciate that I was able to take this 10 years old worthless brick and make it into streaming app tabled with zero adds for my wife so she can watch something while putting our 1yo son to sleep. All thanks to your work and enough instruction to get started.

but I think there was something else wrong with your installation.
I don't know how it's working for other people, but for me it works as good as LineageOS 19.1 does.
But stay prepared, there will be more builds with improvements.

I was not successful in my tests, MicroG does not allow logging in, it closes and the information that fails to close the application is always displayed. In addition to being crashing a lot and the applications stop responding. With gapps, not much has changed either, applications fail or simply do not open. But I know it's still in Alfa and still has a lot of work to do. Anyway I am very grateful to our friend html6405, who has been making an effort to keep our devices alive.
At the moment I went back to Lineage 19 which is more stable to use on a daily basis.
As soon as another Lineage 20 update comes out, I'll test again.

But I had no time to test enough to see if it's fixed now.
Everything is fine, I just have to work 8 - 12 hours per day and I'm struggling to find some time for android, but I try find one day per week.
Yes, the patched PlayStore still should work with microG (but untested by myself) and I'm using NikGapps on one of my devices without any problem.
That's a good idea, I will add it to the list.
Newer packages need to much space, I'm using an older and smaller one (NikGapps).

This is a ALPHA build, also on the LineageOS side, so don't install it if you want a complete and stable rom and don't report my already listed bugs!

I would recommend to use microG instead of BitGapps,If you don't like it, reboot into recovery and type the following command:
- adb shell (or use TWRP's terminal)
- bash /data/param_restore.sh
- reboot
- Uploaded a prepared package to build your own boot picture

- Download Magisk 24.1 and flash it via TWRP (yes, flash the APK file), reboot
- Open Magisk and update the App (and do a reboot if it's asking)
- Enable Zygisk in Magisk
- Download and install microG installer in the Magisk manager, reboot
- Download and install safetynet-fix in the Magisk manager, reboot
- Check with a safetynet checker app and you should pass
If you plan to use a sim card in your device, I would recommend to disable the pin code before with another device.
In some cases the sim card becomes unusable while typing in the code.
