Wow @html6405 thank you so much for this ROM!!!
It has breathed new life into my N8000 :)

I'm using
* twrp-3.7.0_9-0-n8000.img
* 20.0-20221102-HTML6405-n8000.zip
* NikGapps-core-arm64-13-20220908-signed.zip
* Latest Magisk 25.2

I had issues with Magisk and (AdAway and AfWall from F-Droid)
I've tried
* Magisk via the link that you provided.
* Magisk 24.1
* Magisk 25.2

adb shell > su and Android terminal app > su > whoami both work perfectly.

I installed latest BusyBox from F-Droid.

Advanced root checker shows that Super User app is missing.

AdAway thinks there's no root and crashes every time I try to use the root option.
AfWall also complains that there's no root, but it actually works.

Strangely AfWall totally breaks the internet access on the tablet the first time you tun it.
But then you need to change it so that by default things can access the internet, and then anything that is checked is blocked from internet access.
Then reboot the tablet to unbreak internet access.
Then go into App Info for games, Force Stop and clear storage. Then tick the game in AfWall (to block it's internet access) then you can run the game, no ads.
And you can browse the internet in a web browser and internet works.

Since I uninstalled and re-installed BusyBox... now Magisk is a bit confused. When I open the app it thinks that Magisk and Magisk-App aren't installed, but it's working as desired and I even get the popups at boot showing that AfWall is super-user.

Hi. I've installed this rom and kernel "html6405_kernel_-4f2fc156ec68-p4noterf.zip". Tablet doesn't show up in windows explorer (windows 10) when I connect it via usb and choose File Transfer. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi,

here you can find my version of LineageOS 20 for our Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 devices.
At first I want to thank @rINanDO and @ChronoMonochrome for all your work which helped me a lot.

This is a ALPHA build, also on the LineageOS side, so don't install it if you want a complete and stable rom and don't report my already listed bugs!

Here you can see how far everything is working for now.

N8000, N8010, N8013, N8020:
  • Boot
  • Bluetooth
  • Audio
  • Graphics
  • Cameras
  • Sensors
  • GPS
  • Wifi
  • USB
  • Video playback (HW/SW)
  • Tethering via USB, WIFI and Bluetooth
  • consumerir transmitter
  • Stylus with gestures and hovering icon
  • RIL
  • sec_keyboard docking station
  • much more...
  • Random reboots
  • Long screenshot
  • SD-Card can't be formatted as internal storage, this will cause a bootloop
If you don't like it, reboot into recovery and type the following command:
I would recommend to use microG instead of BitGapps,
here you can find the installation instructions:
  1. Download Magisk 24.1 and flash it via TWRP (yes, flash the APK file), reboot
  2. Open Magisk and update the App (and do a reboot if it's asking)
  3. Enable Zygisk in Magisk
  4. Download and install microG installer in the Magisk manager, reboot
  5. Download and install safetynet-fix in the Magisk manager, reboot
  6. Check with a safetynet checker app and you should pass :)

If you plan to use a sim card in your device, I would recommend to disable the pin code before with another device.
In some cases the sim card becomes unusable while typing in the code.

Do you like my work?
Than you can simply hit the thanks button and consider to spend me a coffee or a beer,
I'm doing this in my free time and it also costs a lot of money to buy hardware.

Now you can use my app to access all boeffla sound configurations.

Hello, help needed. Followed the steps on your page to install and at the end I installed the NikGapps-SayaGapps-minimal-arm64-13-20230109-signed.zip from the link provided. When I reboot the LineageOS logo shows up after the galaxy logo with your username under but there is a problem once it reaches the home screen. On the home screen I get a few icons on the bottom but right away there is an error saying: "Trebuchet keeps stopping" after that all icons disappear from the bottom and there is only the black screen. The power off button works to shut it down. Not sure what went wrong in my installastion. How do I fix this? is it caused by NikGapps (if so then how to reinstall)? I tried restarting but the load screen is slow and the same error keeps leading to the black screen.

arm64 is no good because you need arm32.

I have not installed any gapps.
It works perfectly for me.
Installing gapps only causes trouble.

Hmm I was able to install nikgapps, the smallest package,
did you do a clean installation?
I just tried again with nikgapps but once the lineageos is run there's an error "tebuchet stoped working" and everything freezes apart from the notifications dropdown and power off options. I noticed during flashing that it mentions size is 388k while the available space is 210k. I followed the link and there is one file to download: NikGapps-SayaGapps-minimal-arm64-13-20230109-signed.zip

Am I downloading the wrong file?

I'm just a clueless person following the process on the internet to make the tablet usable so I am not able to figure out how to install microg instead due to confusion. Is there an easier one to install for gapps?

Running the installation on n8000 using windows and 20.0-20221102-HTML6405-n8000.zip, twrp-3.7.0_9-0-n8000.img.tar, Odin3 v3.14.1, SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_1.5.27.0

Mine is 8010.
Try not to install any gapps.

If you read the developer's recommendation.
(Gapps, I don't recommend them, use the smallest package)
Arm64 is completely wrong.
On my device arm32 works without error.
The developer did a very good job as always.
The arm64 is causing the error.
Try installing without gapps.
It should work.

Hi, so i tried again but i did it this time using another nikgapps file that is significantly smaller. In the twrp everything was smooth apart from me accidentally wiping the internal storage with the system files but thats ok cause nothing important is on the device anyway, i reboot after flashing the last zip file and now the screen takes me to an animation "Welcome to LineageOS". its been 5mins and no other option shows on the screen. Did you get the same / know how to skip it?

I did it without installing the gapps.
First startup is a bit slow, but it works.
Do not install the gapps.
Install TWRP rom,(no gapps needed,) reboot system. What you need is in the rom.
The developer is very professional.
Don't worry, it should work for sure.

Aurora store

1 TWRP installation with odin

2 start twrp

3 Rom installation from zip file

4 wipe ........

5 system reboot.

The device works perfectly.
You should not install gapps, that's what makes the problems.
I only have problems with reboots.
I've been installing lineage os since 16 only this developer's works all the time.

Have a nice evening

If you have the Aurora Store installed, it will tell you if you have a tracker in the app or not.
I use it to choose what I install and what I don't.

    Any updates from you?
    Is there any improvement?
    I've tried to fix:

    Code:
    03-09 16:34:18.385  1415  1415 F DEBUG   :       #00 pc 000059f4  /vendor/lib/hw/gralloc.exynos4.so (gralloc_perform(gralloc_module_t const*, int, ...)+192) (BuildId: 9103597dfaf8e3bcbd30e2affc18327b)
    03-09 16:34:18.385  1415  1415 F DEBUG   :       #01 pc 00008991  /vendor/lib/hw/gralloc.exynos4.so (android::hardware::Gralloc1On0Adapter::retain(native_handle const*)+336) (BuildId: 9103597dfaf8e3bcbd30e2affc18327b)

    But I had no time to test enough to see if it's fixed now.

    Everything is fine, I just have to work 8 - 12 hours per day and I'm struggling to find some time for android, but I try find one day per week.
    I installed the LineageOS 20 rom and MicroG in my GT-N8000 and everything works well. I like the Aurora Store but just out of curiosity, is it possible to install the Google Play Store as well?.
    Yes, the patched PlayStore still should work with microG (but untested by myself) and I'm using NikGapps on one of my devices without any problem.
    Would it be possible for you to provide a .zip to resize the system partition so we can install gapps on this rom?
    That's a good idea, I will add it to the list.
    Newer packages need to much space, I'm using an older and smaller one (NikGapps).
    Can't seem to set a wallpaper
    Hmm just tested it, it seems to work fine here, whats exactly happening?

    everything working fine at my end.
    I'm using LOS20 + Magisk+BigGapps Magisk module. the setup quite stable and performance is usable.
    3
    Finally fixed the wake up problem in kernel, it took some time to figure out which driver was faulty.
    Only for N8000 and N8010 at the moment.

    Attention: this is only a test kernel at the moment, if you want to try it, there still could be other issues.
