Yo how can i check if i have installed the gs ram drive v7 successfully?
And anymore other modules that u have installed that is great?
I use DiskInfo. You can find at the bottom part that the Swap memory is 6.00GB total.
I think the Mi PAD 4 working very well with the modules I mentioned. Nevertheless, for my own curiousity, I am now testing the GodSpeed Mode A.I. v5.

I think the I/O read ahead size 512kB is too small for our PAD4, not because of the zRAM size.

I prefer this settings:

Bash:
echo '16400' >"/sys/block/mmcblk0/queue/read_ahead_kb"
echo '2043' >"/sys/block/mmcblk0/queue/nr_requests"
echo '1000000' >"/sys/block/mmcblk0/queue/iosched/read_lat_nsec"
echo '1000000' >"/sys/block/mmcblk0/queue/iosched/write_lat_nsec"
echo '16400' >"/sys/block/mmcblk1/queue/read_ahead_kb"
echo '2043' >"/sys/block/mmcblk1/queue/nr_requests"
echo '1000000' >"/sys/block/mmcblk1/queue/iosched/read_lat_nsec"
echo '1000000' >"/sys/block/mmcblk1/queue/iosched/write_lat_nsec"

By "some LineageOS features have not been completed yet." I am hoping that one of those features to be added soon is USB audio. 🙏 I am enjoying this ROM. However i get systemui freezes at times. Idk whym but still love this rom overall. Android 13 made tablet interface look like windows 11 with the appdrawer style deviating from the usual full screen and the fact that you can access the drawer (or i like to call it "start menu" now) even while inside an app.

I am now very happy that Mi Pad 4 got a new life by finally landing wirh an actively updated ROM. Thank you, @sabar_op ! 😊

First, I don't know if I should post this here or on a different thread. If I'm breaking some rule, please forgive me, but I need help.
Suddenly, my device only boots to TWRP.
I didn't do anything, all started with a simple try to normally restart my device.
Everytime I boot I get this screen. What can I do?

After testing, the GodSpeed Mode A.I. module seems not suit me.
I found an android tweak app called "Squirrel" v1.0.2 in pling.com. It has predefined profiles and very good for a lazy guy like me. "Balanced" profile was selected and I am satisfied with its promptly response.
Hope this helps :)

It looks like an encryption problem maybe. Can you actually enter TWRP as if so I'd say format data to see if you can boot system. You'll lose your data and apps of course but as you can't use your device currently then that isn't such a problem.

Thank you very much, that is what I finally did.
I revived it, but now I'm very interested to know what can i do to prevent it from happening again.
When and how does this encryption problem occur? Should I avoid setting a PIN to my device? How can I make sure that I don't encounter this problem once again?
Again, I didn't do anything wrong before it happened, just a normal restart.

It asks for BusyBox to be installed in the system. I've tried to install different versions of BusyBox installers, but no one succeeded to install it. How can I install BusyBox to my system? I'm on the latest PixelExperience.

I used the "Busybox for Android NDK" which can be found in the Fox's Magisk Module Manager.

Have you got the correct TWRP installed? It should be the one on the first page as it is based on 4.19 kernel. If it is then maybe try reinstalling it. If you haven't then you should do the following:

Remove PIN / swipe
Format data using current TWRP
Install correct TWRP
Reboot to recovery
Flash ROM
Format data
Reboot to system

You can enable PIN / swipe once your device is running normally

Again, thanks a lot for helping. I am 100% sure I have the correct TWRP installed, but I will try the steps you described above and see if everything checks out OK.

As most of the other forums for Mi Pad 4 are dormant I thought I'd put this in here.

Has anyone changed the battery on either the 8 inch model or the Plus? I'm thinking of buying one from AliExpress as a back up for the sad day when my current battery is dead. Currently battery health is 69℅ - how good or bad is that?

Hi guys. I am trying to update twrp (which seems to say it works) but my version number is 3.7.0_9-6.
I am expecting it to be 4.19 from this file 'twrp-4.19-3.7.0_9-clover-20221113-0854.img'

Can someone let me know what i am doing wrong please?!
I believe that is no lover the latest. I am using the TWRP 3.7.0_12. Go back to OP. Download link should be there. The ROM files and the TWRP share the same source forge download link. Select the topmost TWRP. That should be the latest.

1.flash latest TWRP. Can be down in 3 ways: flash via recovery (image flash), flash via fastboot, or flash via the official TWRP app.
2.next do a factory reset AND format data partition and wipe system.
3.flash ROM and gapps
4.reboot.

Thanks for replying. The 1st post says to use 4.19 though?

- Use latest 4.19 TWRP created by pix106:

I flash this file but in twrp it says my version is 3.7.0_9-6. So I am wondering if it is failing to flash?

    Just for info. February version
    Playstore verified
    Root is hidden
Bluetooth headphone work as expected and aptX HD works
    Netflix is installable
    Microphone works
    Camera works
    USB DACs work
USB external drives work - with the caveat from above - power down and power on and avoid reboot

My Google One VPN will not start and has not for the last couple of builds.

Thanks for your new ROM! I feel new kernel is more stable and makes lower jitter in audio output quality for USB DAC's and a 3.5mm jack (sounding very tight base drums)

But USB memories and DACs are unusable after rebooting without power off the same as previous ones. However they can be used after rebooting with power off.
