Just had something weird happen today. I turned on my tablet for the day, then it starts lagging like ****..so my usual procedure was to do the emergency reboot which works most of the time. But today it didnt and instead threw me back to TWRP loads of errors. I didnt even flash or do anything.
Any chance it somehow got to have auto updates? Not sure if that is even possible with this ROM.

The battery life of systems using the Pix106 kernel released in February has significantly decreased compared to systems using the Nyx kernel released in January.
Could you correct this issue when releasing the new version? @sabar_op

Dirty flash latest rom lineage-20.0-20230322-UNOFFICIAL-clover.zip.
It works very well without problem.
@sabar_op, thank you very much!

Edit: my data partition had been decypted already in previous versions, and that's possibly why I had no problem to dirty flash roms.

Reboot to recovery to flash the new file. And that was a mistake. Start screen of TWRP. Decyption not working. Pattern not working. How can i dirty flash in the future? Delete fingerprint and pattern before boot to recovery?

Unless you have actually encrypted it you can ignore that first screen about decryption. Just touch cancel and go about the update.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that my data partition had been decypted already in previous versions, and that's possibly why I had no problem to dirty flash roms.

I had to format the data partition. The problem were apparently
nikgaps omni...
Now i have used MindTheGapps. Installing lineage-20.0-20230222-UNOFFICIAL-platina.zip first, initial setup complete, then dirty flash lineage-20.0-20230322-UNOFFICIAL-platina.zip, after press cancel in recovery and not press the pattern. System starts.

I have dirty flashed lineage-20.0-20230322-UNOFFICIAL and now the V1 updated. Working fine so far.

My tablet has a new life as a music server. I have it connected to an external SMSL SU9 DAC and I have USB Audio Player Pro installed (a paid app). USB Audio Player is a wrapper around my Qobuz streaming account which bypasses all Android audio processing and sends the digital stream directly to the USB attached DAC. It works beautifully and you can watch the display on the DAC change as the playing tracks have different sampling rates. HiRes 24 bit FLAC files with rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz. So my MiPad 4 8" LTE device with this ROM is able to drive it all effortlessly. I have not run it long enough to see what happens to battery life, but for this use it does not really matter.

EDIT: This setup will work with a $10 USB-C to headphone jack adaptor that has an inbuilt DAC. You do not get any displays but the principle is the same. One like this Kinsound works fine. I have tried it. 32 bit up to 384 kHz.

Glad to see usb audio finally works. Back then it wouldnt. I am using tempotec sonat hd pro and uapp doesnt detect it. I have temporarily switched to kyasu's lineage20 build because my tab lagged a lot. Ifk if it's just the january build having issues in general.

As I said before, DRC (Dynamic Range Control) cannot be avoided even by using UAPP and the like which bypass the OS mixer and transfer data bit-perfectly though. It's a configuration of a DAC.

try USB_SampleRate_Changer. You can switch DRC on and off with "--drc" option while unplugging a USB DAC. You'll hear the difference.

Now that the tablet has only one purpose I can have a look at your script. I have always avoided having root visible and Magisk in general.

Thanks for the great work.
I have installed the latest version.

I noticed that there is still a problem with the notification LED: When it blinks on a notification, it doesn't stop blinking even if the message has been opened.
Also, disabling the notification LED in the settings has no effect.

Kind Regards.

I've just installed (clean flash) the latest version with nikapps. The only problem I have is a double nav bar.

What can I do to get rid of the little one.
I would try switching to gestures then re-enabling. For what it is worth mine does not have that issue.
Also try going into the settings for display size and move the slider around and see what happens

Same problem here. Fortunately, I flashed the rom again without format data and it booted properly :)
