Hallo Ivan, fantastic that you develop S7 for android 20. I tested the last image and all was fine, but the battery drain is awfull. In onely 1 day it drops from 100% to 38%. So you had to load the akku nearly every day. That is too much.
Can you give us tips in the configuration for battery performance?

- Clock - Alarm Labels to small if edited label names

- Change display resolution (can't find into settings and I I mean, I have only HD ready resolution 720x1280 active)
- DPI Settings
- Hardware keys lights (isn't a device tree bug or this dev)
- Device very hot if loading
- Batterysaver option
- Screensaver functionality (is there but not working)

Banking apps work for me, why not just flash magisk for root? 25.2 working flawless for me.
Just did a clean installation, no GApps. I encounterd 2 issues. First when I swipe up there is no app drawer, just an option to search for apps which also doesn't work and second, I can select gesture navigation but only the swipe up function works. When I swipe to go back nothing happens.
Did another install and again same issues. The md5sum checked out fine. Any ideas?

Go to settings>Wallpaper & Style
Scroll down to App Grid and change size to 5x5 or lower, That should fix it.
Indeed it did..hopefully this gets fixed soon but so far great work by the developer.
What about the gesture navigation, is there a fix for that?

Great, everything's working so far, its just when unlocking the device it crashes and goes back to the lockscreen on first attempt and screen recording is broken while recording a video longer than 10 secs, the system ui crashes. everything else is working perfectly well.
Android 13/LOS 20.0 looks and feels great on Galaxy S7!
However, it worked well for 2 days for me, but now I'm stuck with most apps constantly crashing after a couple of seconds (seems to be related to apps using the network connection, system apps like camera, gallery etc. work fine). I don't get any crash reports or error messages. Whenever I open an app it crashes back to 'desktop' (what's that thing called in Android?)
I'm running latest TWRP (3.6.2.), did a clean flash and use NikGapps Basic with latest Magisk (25.2).
Any idea on how to solve this issue? In this state the phone is almost useless (except for calls and sms - but who still uses those). Help very much appreciated.

What I did is, Wipe system, Install latest build , NikGapps-Core, And Magisk.
I suggest you give it a try and see if that fixes the problem, Not sure if that's what fixed it for me though.
Alright thanks! A quick wipe of system+dalvik-cache and reflash of LOS+NikGapps-Core+Magisk did the thing. Although it makes me wonder how long It'll work this time and what caused the crashs to begin with.

Kernelspace for wireguard is supported on LineageOS 20Hi, first thanks for your work on keeping this device alive.
I'm still on 19.1 currently, which works alright for me. I've recently found out that it does not support wireguard from the kernel (Installed the app from https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.wireguard.android/ to check, should say "kernel" instead of "userspace"):

So my question is: Does this new release' kernel have wireguard enabled? If not, is it a planned feature? This would greatly benefit performance & battery life as far as I read.

Echoes only seem to occur on some devices (possibly depending on factors such as hardware or provider, but no one seems to have been able to narrow this down yet). I think you can only find out by trying the current rom yourself. In my case, unfortunately, there were echos that were not acceptable for my phone call partners, which is why I continue to use LOS 16. Fortunately, Exodusnick still includes occasional security updates in his builds based on LineageOS 16.0 with microG, so at least the security risk is addressed.

How can i check the sdk of the app? The app has no problem on android 13 on different phones and on different roms, like pixel experience. -

Also do not post bug reports for known issues or bug reports without proper
a) Logcat
b) proc/last_kmsg (or proc/kmsg)
c) data/tombstones
d) dmesg
Install gapps right after installing the rom itself don't try to boot to system before that if you want to use gapps (Or wipe data before installing them)
NikGapps have been updated to 13, you might need to clean flash if you used other gapps in past including nikgapps 12.1 version
Make sure you are using latest official TWRP before installing rom older versions do not have proper android 12/13 support

Almost all of the lineageos features have been ported to Android 13 now and are working, there still might be a missing few compared to android 12.1 like toggle for software buttons which is work in progress at the moment.

Some of you might have noticed that there were not any updates after security update, I had a lot going on in personal life and havent had time for android unfortunately hopefully that changes soon so i can finish up few more things that need to be sorted on s7.
