LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Couldn't get the ROM to work unfortunately. For some reason my phone won't boot any 9.0 ROM. I've got the latest TWRP installed but as soon as it boots a "shutting down" box appears, the phone shuts off and reboots to TWRP. The same occured when I tried GZOSP 9.X so I'm pretty sure it's not the ROM itself. Any ideas? I assume I get logs from TWRP?

I got the same issue when I flashed android pie GZOSP and sacred os 1.5.1.... I managed to backup my personal content such as downloaded rom, photos and music to my computer.. And I do advanced wipe in twrp (data, system, cache, dalvik, internal storage), then after finished all that, turn phone off for few seconds before boot to twrp again, click mount then choose storage to check if your internal memory is corrupted or not.. in my case, I used model XT1805 with 32gb storage, when I check on twrp, I have around 24gb available, means my storage is there.. Then connect your phone to the computer and transfer your downloaded rom, gapps, magisk and optional stuff like flashable moto cam, enable eis or whatever else you want.. Then install it as usual.... For me itself, took 3 times to make it boot fine without auto shut down or any errors

    Update

Since i've been PC-less for a while I haven't been able to contribute much to the development of this ROM. In around 2 weeks or less I should have a desktop to run all my builds. That being said, there will be one more build for lineageOS 16 and will be marked final AFTER a few tests and bug reports(?). The development will focus on LineageOS 17 from the date of the Final build

    Thanks for sticking on,
    MA.

    January 2020 security updates

Hej, since I'm using this rom for quite a while and there were no recent security update merges ... I tried to compile it myself...
... and since I succeeded I wanted to let you know, maybe you'd like to use the image as well :)

ZIP archive available from Github. Since I'm a new user I may not post URLs right here :(
So build the URL from those pieces yourself by removing the spaces --> https :// github.com/stesie/android_device_motorola_sanders/releases /tag/20200124

The build uses the unmodified device/kernel tree by MasterAwesome + latest linage-16.0 source
