I've tried to build the actual version of LineageOS, but it fails while brunching:

Code:
Starting build with ninja
ninja: Entering directory `.'
ninja: error: '/home/bjo/android/system/out/target/product/hiaeuhl/obj_arm/SHARED_LIBRARIES/libtime_genoff_intermediates/export_includes', needed by '/home/bjo/android/system/out/target/product/hiaeuhl/obj_arm/SHARED_LIBRARIES/libandroid_servers_intermediates/import_includes', missing and no known rule to make it
build/core/ninja.mk:151: recipe for target 'ninja_wrapper' failed
I've sourced envsetup and breakfasted before, OS is Debian 8.6.

Have you extracted the binary blobs from a previous build ?

croot
cd devices/htc/hiaeuhl
./extract-files.sh (Without a folder it tries to get the blobs per Usb from your Smartphone, when you mounted an image from Cyanogen or Lineage you have to mount it to a directory named system and then use the path to extract it [like, mounted to /home/user/system, then the command is ./extract-files.sh /home/user, the script automatically looks in the system folder in that directory]).

After that you can begin the build with brunch hiaeuhl.

Thanks for the hint with extracting the blobs from an image. I was trying to build it in a VM in a DC, so no chance of connecting the smartphone to it ;)

I hope I'll get the build process working, the last time I've build CM on my own was LegaxyXperia a long time ago.

I ran into some difficulty getting the necessary libraries from my device, so I have a folder for anyone else who has issues.

Also, I built LineageOS 1-10-17 for anyone who wants it (hiaeul)

If anyone wants to help me maintain a folder full of resources for this device let me know.

In this Post i have described how to get the files from an older build (like the last cm14.1 build), it's a bit tricky but once you have converted the image you can use it any time later again (If needed) until new binary blobs will be provided (Think when the A9 becomes nougat then the devs will extract new blobs from there to provide better functionality).

I said I was having trouble silly. I figured it out after a while. :p

mlecho is not the maintainer or developer for the A9, nor is he making builds for users.

And about the camera, you'll have to wait until blobs from hTC's N release for the A9 make it into Lineage code, as explained in the thread previously.

How about the video from your camera? (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70396116&postcount=251). Given Ultramanoid's point about blobs for A9 nougat not yet available, can i safely assume the video is choppy for this build as well?
Like I said, video on camera1 API with Open Camera works perfectly in my A9s, being hiaeuhl. ( I admit it crashes on start often, but once on, it records fine, no issues at all with the video, no sharp cuts like in your sample. )

I doubt there are hardware differences between hiaeul and hiaeuhl when it comes to the camera though, it's things like radio firmware and such that sets them apart.

I can verify that the video still choppy using snap. I haven't tried open camera but I only record video couple maybe 3 times a year so it's not a deal-breaker for me. HTC is supposed to be releasing an update within the next week and once an official version is released I'm sure it won't take too long to get the appropriate files to fix it
