Please correct me if I'm wrong...

It looks like your performing, what they call, Dirty Flashing. This is when you flash one Firmware (in your case LOS14.1) over another (in your case CM13). If that's what you're doing then it can't be done in that manner.

There's only 2 ways to flash an updated Android version from the CM/LOS13 to a CM/LOS14.1...

1) You can use a Migration (aka Experimental) build. Unfortunately, the Lineage developers had removed them from their site a few months ago.

2) Backup then wipe everything and perform a clean install of the LOS14.1.

Also, the Official LineageOS Wiki pages have an FAQ with that error message as the first one listed. The link is as follows.

Sir...can i get lineage os for my galaxy wonder GT-I8150.:crying:
I don't have that specific device but, the following link is a device specific area of the forum for the Samsung Galaxy W I8150 (aka Samsung Galaxy Wonder).

https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-w

I'll just point out that, If there's any developments for this device, it would/should be posted within the "Android Development" area of the above device specific area.

My opinion... I don't believe that Lineage will ever open development for this device.

I wish you the best of luck!

Volet , camera, fingerprint, flashlight not working in moto g4 plus . 8.0 lineage is 15.0
Your best bet is to post your question within the following Unofficial LineageOS thread for your device.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3672940

The following is the best place for any other questions for your specific device.

Good Luck!

How can I port LineageOS to my Asus ZenPad 7.0 Z370C (P01W) and what are the risks?
I don't have this device but, After seeing your posted question on a number of locations, I can, confidently, state that there's no LineageOS developed (Official & Unofficial) for your device.

The best that I (and anyone else i can think of) can recommend/suggest that you do is to develop a LineageOS ROM and be the Superhero of those who also has this device.

The following is a decent list of Guides in how to develop one for, pretty much, any device.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2814763

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2455005

I would like to note that i can't state that one is in the development stages already but, i don't see this indicated anywhere either. This is up in the air whether or not it's in the works.

I wish you the best of luck!

LOS 15 release date?
If you take a look at the last Official Changelog entry from the following link...

https://www.lineageos.org/Changelog-14/

It states the following:

LineageOS 15.0 progress

While the cm-14.1 branch development hasn’t stopped, we’re also working on the next LineageOS version (15.0), based on the latest Android 8.0. We will refrain from giving any ETA, just patiently wait until the new branch is ready for release-time.

Not sure where the right place to ask this is. I'm not in here to ask "when is my device going to get Lineage." But the question is similar and this could be a relevant place to ask since Lineage seems to be the community solution for updates to old phones... I'm using a 2011-vintage LG LS970 as a mini-tablet around the house.
The newest ROM I can find for the LS970 is a CM12 nightly from March 2015. Hopefully that'd have security patches current through then. (?)

Assuming I install that ROM, is there any way to get newer security updates? Doesn't seem like this phone has much of a developer community left so I'm not holding out hope for a Lineage port... Thanks in advance for any thoughts. Again, mainly I'm concerned with getting the latest security on here; otherwise basic app functionality and wifi is all I need.

I don't have this device but, the following area of the forum is specific to your device (The LS970 is an International variant on the LG Optimus G).

With that stated...

Your best bet is to take a look at the following thread and, if needed, post your question within it.

Thanks. I have related questions pending in a few of the LS970 subforums. Previous post in those forums was in early December, and the last post by a dev was over a year ago; figured most of the activity was in the LOS forums these days. I know from my experience in several of the Galaxy forums that devs frown on getting PM'd with random questions, but after your suggestion I shot off a couple. One dev was active today (in a different forum) but the CM12 dev hasn't been active since September. So.
Regardless, thanks for your thoughts and reply!

    LineageOS FAQ

    Why did Cyanogenmod end?
This statement from the CyanogenMod team explains where the company is headed from here. As far as why they has to discontinue Cyanogenmod:
The company is downsizing and will focus on a new project (the “Cyanogen Modular OS” program), and they are merely cutting off services that they believe they can no longer maintain. As a part of their consolidation, the company announced that many of their employees, including Cyanogen (Steve Kondik) himself, would part ways with the company.
    -Mishaal Rahman

    What about nightlies?
As of 12.13.16 all cyanogen nightlies will no longer be supported.
As part of the ongoing consolidation of Cyanogen, all services and Cyanogen-supported nightly builds will be discontinued no later than 12/31/16. The open source project and source code will remain available for anyone who wants to build CyanogenMod personally.

    What is LineageOS?
LineageOS is the successor to the popular CyanogenMod ROM. With an emphasis on openness, community development, and improvement of the stock Android experience, CyanogenMod supported dozens of devices officially with nightly updates, and unofficially, by the efforts of developers in the community, dozens more devices. LineageOS intends to pick up where CyanogenMod left off, but with a redoubled focus on being a grassroots community-focused development effort.

Where can I find LineageOS Builds?
We have not started doing official builds yet. One of the benefits of this being an open source project is that anyone can build it, but please be careful flashing builds you’ve downloaded from other sources. We will have some more information on when weeklies (or possibly nightlies) will be starting soon.
When builds of LineageOS start to show up, you can expect them to pick up right where Cyanogenmod left off and be nearly identical to the latest CM builds.

    How can I participate?
LineageOS is looking for people to build slaves and build mirrors. If you have hosting resources that meet these requirements, then you can contact them here.

I will be updating this FAQ as more information comes out about LineageOS.

So this may sound terrible dumb but I didn't find a clear answer around here, is Lineage based on 7.0?
There is one based on 6.0.1 and one based on 7.1.1

    hey guys! lg g2 d800, d801, d802, d803;
    where lg g2 LS980 ?? thx

    Please read the rules:
This forum is NOT a forum for your to request Lineage for your device! It's a forum for the discussion of development of LineageOS. These thread I'm already seeing pop up about people asking for Lineage posts are ridiculous. This isn't a place to come and ask for people to port ROMs to your device, so please don't treat it as such. Thank you.

Start by finding the forum for your device.

I don't have this device but I'll bet my best bet would probably be to follow the link posted above, that would be specific to my device, if I did.

If only somebody would repeatedly and continually post an identical reply to every single question thread posted on XDA with such advice we'd all be much, much happier. I have a headache.

    Good luck!
