Saying Google is acting like Apple is not helping your argument...at all.a) Editor in Chief of Engadget uses an N1 as his primary phone about half the staff has dropped their iPhones for Android so I don't know why you think they're trying to kill it...
b) I don't like it any more than anyone else but give me one single example of a company who has every made the media wait until the consumer launch. Even Apple, the most closed company in history gives select media preview units. It's just the way the market works.
