Hy,

today i installed the new linux installer 3.3 on my XOOM Rana 1.4.3 Kernel wit HC3.2. After starting the app i get this error:

Missing kernel module(s)
Sorry but your kernel does not have the neccessary features for install linux.
Kernel feature is not known because the /proc/config.gz file is not found!

I have the option "Override" and "Close"

So, when close, the app close. Should i choose Override or is my XOOM not compatible?

Now i tried Override but install didn´t work....what is to do?

Would love to put this on my BIONIC,

but I have the chance to overide this error.. After overide it won't pull from any Distro sources.

Would love if this worked if i have to I'll try the other way.. But kinda want to focus on other things.

Is it possible to install this on a Samsung Galaxy S runing ICS 4.0.3 Platypus kernel?
Also when I look at the options it says that Ubuntu 10.10 is unsupported. But I have found several guides that helps you install 10.10.

If possible to install on ICS and platypus kernel is it safe to chose Ubuntu 10.10 anyway?
