rom update read 2nd post for changelog

NOTE:
Code:
If you are rooted and you install the OTA or manually and end up at the fastboot screen.
Do the following.
check which slot you are in at the moment then
fastboot set_active b if you are now in A
o
fastboot set_active a if you are currently in B

go to magisk and install magisk in the inactive slot (which is not inactive as that's where the freshly flashed OTA is)
when done reboot the device and it will boot normally.

**My review of the ROM for those who want**
ROM is awesome in performance perspective. Buttery smooth.

My domain of testing is Bluetooth audio and Wi-Fi and overall sound quality since I use the phone heavily to listen to music and media consumption.

I didn't like the sound profile at all. Music sounds faded due to high bass when played through speaker. Instrumentals in the songs are faded. Bass is unnecessarily high no matter what preset you choose. Same is the case when played through Bluetooth earphones. Pixel OS (android 12 based) also has this high bass issue, but it is too much in this rom.
Also sound through Bluetooth is jittery when LDAC codec is turned ON
Basically, if you are a music lover your ears will be disappointed .
Any guide to improve/fix the audio would be appreciated:geek:.

Other than that, I didn't find any issues as of now. No heating at all. Battery obviously drains quickly at this level of performance unless you turn ON power saver.

Color modes in display settings actually works. I was surprised since in pixel rom it is messed up.

It's worth mentioning twice that the performance of the device is freaking awesome:love:. May be due to high touch sampling rate being always ON and animations being slightly faster than stock MIUI. For reference it feels slightly faster than stock MIUI at "High performance" mode.

Can't turn off dark mode when power saver is ON. This annoys me. Some other roms too don't allow turning off dark mode when power saver is ON. Dark mode hurts my eyes sometimes. So once in a while if prefer to switch back to light mode. Pitch black is available which is a nice thing. Looks cool.

Keep up the good work dev :giggle:.

Note: I wrote this review after only a few hours of testing. So, my review is surficial. I won't thoroughly test this ROM until a working fix to the audio problem which I described above gets available, since the only motive to use this phone is not fulfilled here. Happy testing.

I updated my rooted device with the OTA tool and it updated successfully except for magisk which is now uninstalled from my device after updating, Is There any solution for this?

    New build comes today
please do a backup cuz format data is required
On pling download, the rom does not install for some reason, after step 1, the step 2 instantly finishes, I dont think thats how the older build works(?) resulting into no boot.

Edit: Install fails on both download links. after step 1, step 2 just instantly finishes, and no rom is installed for some reason

Thanks for the build, system works flawlessly now. I am not sure if yuki kernel was updated in the newer build so I sideloaded the latest yuki kernel. Initial boot is smoother than the previous versions. Will see if it's stable in the long run

Overall the ROM is GOOD and I can tell the kernel has gone through some kind of optimizations to make it this smooth.

Here are the things I noticed though :
    - No Smooth Display Option in the settings
    - High Touch Polling Rate doesn't work.
    - Screen sets itself to 60hz after unlocking the screen and doing something right away and goes back to 90hz if you don't touch it for like a second.
    2
I haven't noticed any problem with brightness so far but my testing was short lived as I have gone back to the old build of PixelOS for its stability on my end. May fully daily drive this one as the bugs gets ironed out.
