To search and flash kdz files isn't a solution those b,c,d,e firmwares should have been OTA to the unbranded phones first since there is no bloat to be added and then the branded phones.

I've run v20d and v20e there is a notification on start up on v20d and with it being vdf (Vodafone)comes with loads of bloatware where v20e is open and comes with no notification on startup and no bloatware and is running pretty good, so far no issues

i cannot confirm! i'm running open h850 and v20d didn't give me any notification nor vodafone bloatware.
I've sent an email to LG support to get an explanation on why Vodafone customers get special treatment.

LG majorly suck when it comes to 2 things... 1. Actually knowing anything of any relevant value.. And... 2. Actually sharing anything of any relevant value with its customers.

For my unbranded H850 I received an OTA update today.
I'm still on v10n .i will not try to update cause i'm not sure if newer version than v20a available.
V20a has battery drain issues.less than 7 hours on clean installation or via fota.
