Please keep comments like that off this thread. I have no intentions of running that rom nor have I ever tried it but if/when someone picks up the rom they will fix out the issues.

Let's keep it positive here. If someone does not like the rom, they very well can pick up the reigns and take it where it needs to be if it is no longer being developed.

Don't use Dubb-Shot Espresso it's for the My Touch 4G. It doesn't have a file explorer or a virtual keyboard installed. It's useless for the Droid Incredible, it shouldn't be on this list.

The purpose of this thread is to list all the ROM's that have been developed for the Incredible.

I rely on members of the forum to post links here or PM me when new ones need to be added.

The ROM you're talking about is definitely for the incredible, if you feel like it isn't fully matured you should post on the ROM's thread not here. As a note all developers do this for enjoyment, many of them do this for appreciation from other people. It does not help to criticize unless it's constructive, keep in mind that you are not paying anyone, you are not entitled to have a flawless ROM everytime you flash. All of these are work in progress (unless they have been abandoned by the developer).

POQbum...I appreciate this list. When I was starting out flashing ROMs I found it an invaluable resource.

Could you add Jermaine's Insensitive-Minimalist ROM under the Sense(less) section? I'm not sure if you need a separate sub-section for GB OTA ROMs or not.

Also, there are a flurry of 3.0 and 3.5 ROMs coming out right now based on newtoroots and joelz respective bases. Not sure if you want to list these yet or not, or wait until they mature a bit.

Finally, there are a few GB OTA ROMs by Jermaine, Wildstang and Incubus...should there be a new "Incredible (stock 2.3.4) framework" section at the top?


Sorry, I'm not trying to create a lot of work for you. I could dummy it all up in a follow-up post for you to cut and paste if the basic approach makes sense.

The list is great, I'm one of the thousands of flash-aholics and i'm always checking the list to see what's new before jumping through threads. Would it be too much work to add a section for the "retired and outdated" ROMS. Like Re-Engineered and Magnolia and some of the older ROMS since many haven't been updated in over 6 months, but no one would know what's updated unless they look through that ROMs thread. If you would like I will do the parsing so you just have to paste it in and create the links.

Great suggestion, I was thinking about doing similar. I may just move all ROM's that are lower than GB into their own group.

My hopes with this thread is to provide *all* ROM's for the INC, I know I'm missing a few and if you could help fill the gaps that would be great.

Thanks POQbum, I appreciate it. I see that you've updated the OP with the GB/FY breakdown, which looks great. Here's what I can suggest adding...this is all new, nothing on the current list is in this one. Once I started compiling the list, it rapidly got out of hand. It's surprising (and amazing) how much fresh development is happening on this phone right now.

Just want to also say thanks to all the great devs...what an amazing dev community the DInc has.

bliss - the devs stopped working on it and went on to another version (runny i think)

the runnyrevolution one had alot going on .. i tried to fallow threw all the posts nad threads from here and the other site.. saw that there was a post up in the wiki forum by the one dev of the lastest working version.. flashed it .. tried it out ..
so i figured i would post up a link to it here for those who where looking for a good working version of 3.5.

and if you wanted the quicklaunch like i did from 3.5 you can ad that in to fix the one that was buggy in runnys..

just figured i would put up what i found that seemed to work for me ..since i had a hard time finding one that worked for me.. maybe help some one out who is looking for it ..

Not trying to slam you. However, runnyrev is listed on the first post and the purpose of this thread is to list the roms available for the Dinc. Runny rev has a separate thread and I see you also posted there. I find most of the sense 3.5 roms laggy as compared to the sense 2.1 and AOSP roms. I'm glad it's running well for you. LOL

yeah i figured that .. and yeah i posted it in the other one ..
i guess we could delete this one here then..
But i just figured it was hard for me to go threw all those threads and posts ..
I was just trying to make it easier for the next person that wants to try it out..
the threads are crazy and some are 40 to 100 pages deep. It was not easy!!
It took me a while to go threw it all just find and put together the links and find a solution to a 3.5 that was good enough to use daily ..
