Location Settings?

I have just the rooted stock with GoogleApps. I have a problem getting the GPS function to work, it doesn't find where I am and it doesn't locate me at all. It says I am in Oklahoma or I am nowhere at all. I live in Ohio, lol, which is the funniest part. Foursquare was the only thing that gave me an idea of what I should do it said: Cannot find parameter ii(sw, nw) or parameter i(n,s) I think. Googlemaps says for me to check the settings, but I am unable to.

Have any idea on what I can do?

Someone told me that the Nook HD doesn't have a GPS, so what can I use to use apps like foursquare and googlemaps :[?

You can go to my HD/HD+ CWM thread linked in my signature and get the location services zip. It turns on network location services so Maps can locate you. I don't know if it works with foursquare. After you flash it and reboot you need to be ready to quickly click the agree button before it disappears or it will have to be flashed again.
