Can someone help me how to stop WhatsApp from showing preview message on lock screen. I have tried all the options but somehow I am unable to find the correct setting so that when locked I only get the notification and not the whole message.

Go to Settings -> Apps & Notifications -> Notifications. In the Lock Screen section, turn off 'Sensitive Notifications'. This will turn off message previews for all apps.

Or you can go to WhatsApp's App Info and then to Notifications and choose for each notification channel whether to show it on lockscreen or not.
