Oh I'm using dn4 after I set pin lock, when I key in pin it immediately go back to lock screen again meaning looping forever in lock screen. Could this be a bug you could cure? Or waiting for arsaw to cure it?

I didn't started work on 4.4.4 as I got N4 and right working only on it
Probably it's base bug.

Lock Screen security bypass

As we know forgetting lockscreen password/Pattern is really painful. Normally you need to wipe data.

Here attached a flashable LockScreen_security_bypass.zip
Download and flash using CWM to bypass security lock on Lockscreen without wiping data.

If you have PIN/Password lock, it will disable it and reboot directly to unlock screen
If you have pattern lock, on rebooting you will fing pattern lock, but still it can be unlock by any pattern

Wow. That's too easy. So none of our phones are actually secure. Damn. Is that why data encryption is going to be on by default on phones shipping with Lollipop? Or does that have nothing to do with this?

thabks for relying. but if i dont unlock bootloader or root then the robber can do it n then flash this hack to gain access to my phone without wiping. the purpose for my question was how can i secure my device from this hack ? any other tweak to secure or another lockscreen etc? or the only option i have is to encrypt my device to survive?

The robber has 2 ways:
1. ADB - Switch off usb debugging
2. Flashing - Don't flash custom recovery.

Did you try flashing in stock recovery? The partitions has to be mounted for this hack to work. I don't think your robber can flash this in stock recovery.

Yes there is a possibility to flash modified boot loader via ODIN but I have flashed only stock boot loader. You are free to test and update. We can chat this possibility separately as this may become off topic.

You can go through the hack script bro. It looks simple. Removal of some keys and stuff.

Now I'm trying to find a way to put this file onto a Nexus 4 while the lock is already in place. Can anyone please guide on how to do that? Phone is rooted with CWM and USB debugging is enabled. Computer will not allow me to access the phone components until the pin is unlocked.
