Then why you not simply remove busybox, unroot and try to run script rather than making speculative statement.
You can ask here too. Indeed it should work without busybox and even root.

It will work.
If the user does not have busybox, he/she can go to twrp/cwm>mount and mount /system /data and /cache and flash your file, unmount /system and reboot

It's in there like three times. I'm far from a dev but looks like it calls for busybox.

It is possible to do it without busybox. You should not arrive to conclusions if you don't know how to read EDIFY.

Yeah I did exactly that on a Samsung Galaxy S5 with Android 5.1.1.

Before even starting the steps below, make sure you have an aroma file manager flashable zip file for custom recovery.

1. Flash Clockworkmod or some other custom recovery via odin
2. Boot recovery
3. Install the aroma file manager zip file with custom recovery
4. The file manager will open and you will need to look in the system partition (you have to mount it first in custom recovery sometimes) and go into data where the lockscreen security is kept in .key files. If I can remember one was called fingerprint.key / lockscreen.key / password/key and etc. I made a backup in a folder in the same folder just in case anything goes wrong I can go back to recovery and restore the file.

Hello, thinks for this solution, I start to try it but it dosn't work ! I download the "LockScreen_security_bypass.zip " file and i put it in my SD card, but it dosnt work after instaling it, it gives me this error message E: footer is wrong

on CyanoGenmod : CM-13.0-20160429-snapshot-znhoea02yj-mako
It's a Nexus 4, i locked my Nexus 4 . with a pattern lock.
my ADB can see my devices in Recovery mode (via ADB when the phone is in the Recovery (Power and vol -)
but when he is open (normal mode) i see a unauthorised phone.

I push your file .zip via ADB with
ADB push c:/users/gti660/desktop/lock.zip /sdcard/0
file was uploaded in the phone. I tried to install via recovery but i receive error
set_perm: some changes failed
e:error in data/media/0/lock.zip
(status 7.)
installation aborted.

Can you help me please.

Lock Screen security bypass

As we know forgetting lockscreen password/Pattern is really painful. Normally you need to wipe data.

Here attached a flashable LockScreen_security_bypass.zip
Download and flash using CWM to bypass security lock on Lockscreen without wiping data.

If you have PIN/Password lock, it will disable it and reboot directly to unlock screen
If you have pattern lock, on rebooting you will fing pattern lock, but still it can be unlock by any pattern

hi.. could someone explain how this zip file works? (what is it removing?) because after flashing this zip under twrp, my Galaxy Alpha (G850F) now stuck on samsung boot logo only, it cannot boot into menu, before i flash it, everything was normal...

i had twrp 2.8.1.1 and supersu installed..
i'm on android 5.02

Samsung s4 DID NOT WORK was about to download on SD card and in recover booting mode was able to select the zip file and ran the process but once restarting pin screen still shows and will not clear. Help?
