Can you describe step by step what you have done to have unlocked bootloader? What roms you used and the order of those roms when you flash them on your Xperia Z phone

Thank you
u can find my posts where I explain it searching the forum Xperia Z Original Android Development

I have searched in that forum but there is no post by you
Actually, can you give the names of roms you used to flash, both locked and unlocked roms
I tried some unlocked rom but the radio works well. It is not like what you described in this thread. My phone shows the status Bootloader unlock: No and I am very interesting if it can become unlockable

Hello pal, what everyone asking you is explain those steps in clear.
1. Name the UB Rom you tried first (any separate kernel)
2. Then in flashtool, what version of (.ftf) file u flashed to make it work.
3. Name the LB Rom you flashed finally.
4. Then what you tried at last to unlock your bootloader.

Thanks

Yes I totally agree that you should name all the roms UB and LB you have used to make your phone unlockable
Unlike what you describe in OP, I install some roms for UB only but radio works well, then I flash stock rom and then flash LB roms and nothing happened
My phone is still none unlockable now

STEPS PLEASE :)

My bootloader status has changed NO to YES, so would be keen to give this a try and see if it is actually unlockable now, but can't get my head around the steps posted so far, very vague...

Exact steps would be greatly appreciated, it seems if your telling the truth you would make a bunch of extremely happy Xperia z owners.

edit.

im trying to understand the vague instructions from this guy.

i just flashed a rom for unlocked bootloader in cwm and it stopped me from turning the phone back on.
so im now re flashing ftf in flashtools.
ill then check bootloader unlock aloud status again and report back.

edit2

so flash done all ok but unlock allowed is still no.
tried to unlock anyway but it still comes back with remote command not aloud.

I'm keen to give this a try, as my bootloader is now a YES for some reason, while yours still says a NO correct? Telstra Z as well?

Just need to find a day I can be without my phone for when **** goes haywire - 95% sure it will haha

I'm on 3(UK) and still on no after almost all combinations of flashing.

Have you now tried to unlock via official method?

I remember a dev called TripNraver made custom kernels for the one x to trick it into thinking it was in a mode called apx? (tegra3) in order to rewrite the bootloader and achieve s-off.

So I'm only speculating but if we could somehow inject a kernel into an ftf that we flash that contains a way of making all partitions read/writable we could flash an unlockable bootloader or at least change the permissions to allow fastbootmode. Like a force fastboot mode of some sorts.
Obviously the phone wouldn't boot unless the kernel had the correct signature. And there I feel lay the problem.

Sorry for double post.

If s-off can be achieved on HTC devices why can the bootloader not be bypassed on a Sony device. Yes I know different devices but I assume it can be done with the right knowledge and with enough devs helping out. Wasn't the bootloader bypassed on the x10?

Sony changed the security for newer phones, that's what I've read from the devs.

So that means we just forget about trying to bypass it?

Since there is lot of phones with bootloader status= yes unlockable so i don't think any dev will waste the time.
