Introduction

This ROM is the result of many hours pulling my hair out! You may be familiar with my previous MIUIv5 PORT which was based on CM10. I became frustrated by the fact that my ROM was using a kernel that was over 10 months old. I was looking for a way to take it forward and after many failed attempts finally managed to create this ROM which utilizes the latest 3.4 kernel with all the benefits that brings. Enjoy!!

Features

Completely stock MIUI with the exception of the Camera and FM Radio which are from the Stock SONY ROM.

Working:
All core and important functions of the ROM - WiFi, Bluetooth, RIL, Mobile Data. Camera etc.

Not Working:
Nothing I know of, tell me if you find anything!!

Remember that MIUI V5 is very much in the Beta stages of development - Please feel free to report any bugs you find.

Installation Instructions

For Unlocked Bootloaders:
- MAKE A BACKUP INCASE IT ALL GOES WRONG
- Download the ROM and copy to your SDCARD
- Install a Cutom Kernel with Recovery
- Boot into recovery
- Full Wipe
- Install ROM
- Reboot and Enjoy


For Locked Bootloaders: This assumes you already have Stock JB Installed
- MAKE A BACKUP INCASE IT ALL GOES WRONG
- Download the ROM and copy to your SDCARD
- Install a recovery for locked bootloaders
- Boot into recovery
- Full Wipe
- Install ROM
- Reboot and Enjoy

FAQ

Q. I can't install LMT or any floating panel application what do I do?

A. To install LMT Launcher or any other floating panel application do the following..
1. Install the App as normal. When prompted enable the "Trust this App" button.
2. Go to Settings > Apps. Find the App and enable the "Show Popup Window" button.

Sorry if my instructions are not clear enough. This is the kernel I use but the Doom kernel will also work. The stock kernel will also work. DO NOT use the kernel from from previous MIUI port. It won't work..

Im testing this right now ,speed is great(much better than version based on CM) ,all is working fine except one thing if i connect headphones and play some song and raise the volume i get instant reboot..

I have this problem too. Some programs close without errors. Rolling back!

Love this rom, I have a locked boot loader and this works perfectly.

I cannot play music on headphones at all. Instant reboot. Tried with JetAudio as well. Used vKernel. Apart from that everything seems fine for now. But I have to change the rom.
