monho, i just flashed this and i'm stuck on boot image...is there something wrong with the framework? i'm using cna btw..

The OP, faithcry, said this only works AOSP ROMs. Also, you must be using the system theme. As far as what I upload, its pretty much just pictures in the right folders with the right names and dimensions. I recommend using Zipthemer over Metamorph because it just does better.

I also had this problem. I did use the system theme and also used zipthemer. I also downloaded it multiple times thinking it was a bad download and same story. Never boots. Just stays on nexus screen. Never had a problem with other images. Hopefully we can fix it because I really liked it.

ya i use zipthemer to make the zip file..i'm able to flash other lockrings(like the android lockscreen) in the OP without problems...

I downloaded that lockring from here directly to my phone, built it with Zipthemer, and applied it. The phone booted with no problems. I can't say I've never messed up. But from all evidence, I can say this particular lockring is working.

There may be issues with the rom you are using, or there was some error in the application of the ring. Detailed instructions for both metamorph and Zipthemer are in this thread somewhere if you want to verify the application process. Only AOSP based roms are certain to work because custom roms could have changed the file names and/or location. Paranoid Android is one example. I use AOKP JB build 1 on my Galaxy Nexus, and I have no issuses when using Zipthemer. Metamorph tends to crash Jellybean systems.
