Lockscreen Challenge/Request

I myself have no skill in developing but I'm hoping someone who does can help me. I'd like a pattern lockscreen to be created where you can't actually see the dots you have to connect. I think it would be cool if you couldn't see the dots or your pattern you drew but it would vibrate when you hit where the dot is supposed to be. It would be awesome if someone could do this or if it already exists, direct me to it.

Already built in to Android. Settings, lockscreen, make pattern visible. Clear the checkmark. The dots will be there, but nothing shows when you connect, and it still vibrates for each dot touched.

Modify framework-res.apk or systemUI.apk (don't know which one) and replace the 'dot' image with a blank image.

Use a theming guide as a reference to pull and decompile the apk. Use photoshop to edit. Recompile, sign (zipalign)? <- (not sure about that one. Check it up.) and push back to your phone.
