As said, bricked in logo screen.
it is stock verizon with 4.4.2., no root, no nothing custom, except used in developer mode to use pdanet
have drained battery & entered recovery mode.
Once there, tried to wipe cache, system prompts essentially says every thing is missing, cache, recovery partition, recovery log, etc. so of course cache clear fails.
I then tried to access phone with kies & smart, will not connect.
My system isnt seeing it either when direct connected
I have switched from verizon to t mobile last sunday, getting new phones for my wife & I.
Due to tmobiles people screwing up the porting, my contacts etc did NOT get transferred between my old note2 & new lgv20 phones.
I really need to NOT factory restore (have not attempted) as the phone still has 10 years of family friends business contacts that are not anywhere else.
I need to access the phone using non data destructive techniques.
Looking for any guidance to get it unbricked without a wipe, or at a minimum to somehow get into the files to retrieve the contacts.
Any help is appreciated
