Hey Guys,

i have a little problem with my MTCC KLD6 headunit.
I havent installed a rear camera and in android settings it is turned off. Anyway the device turn sound off and show me the missing signal of the rear cam, when i'm driving backwards.

Anyone of u ever faced this problem?
Under factory settings ("126") i didnt find anything about the camera.

Maybe there need to be a wire cutted between the device and canbus-adapter?

Cheers :)

Don't know if it can be turned off in factory settings. But showing this screen is not only for rear camera, but also for OPS (Optical Parking System).
If you have none of these, you could disconnect the "reverse wire" to the HU. In my case it is an orange wire from the Canbus box to the HU. But rather than cutting the wire I would take it out of the plug.

Fine, that is what i thought about.
Gonna try it today and give u guys feedback about success or failure  :p

Thanks!

EDIT: Plugged out the cable for the reverse cam between the CAN-Bus adapter and the HU. Now it works like it should.

I do not understand where is the problem if @dsa8310 move his work on a clean 3D...
this one is a talking in general so if someone need specify about his work should better separate and I'm happy he did (this is normal in all forum for phone rom's)
and about individual problem and fighting is stupid continue to go ahead, this create only confusion on who want info
stop personal fighting stop complain stop polemics stop choose the side of one or other like politics...go back in what xda was created
en fin...thanks to all people help here, this is a greath place

ps. I'll not reply (ignoring) who continue in this by quote or mention me ;)
Not one person has said there is a problem with @dsa8310 opening a new thread, what people are complaining about is the fact that hes removed all his posts from this one, has posted a list of 15 (!) people that he is ignoring and that he will also ignore anyone who quotes any of those 15 people in his thread. The only person "fighting" is dsa, the only person forcing people to take sides is dsa.

What have i missed is this thread still gonna stay alive it's a good thread for newbies asking us oldies for help. dsa8310 spat is dummy out again.
Just read the last few pages and your ll see what youve missed. thread still alive and open for posts.

TY sir.. Was wondering.. Like to know if the use same board (CPU with ram)
What, that unit ? Pretty certain no as it isnt MTC. If you want 2GB you can always buy it as others have and with your experience/contacts soldering would be easy, its also very easy to remove the SoM, jsut 2 screws and a RAM type fitting.

I would guess that the cpu boards with components be universal in a way. But the program could be different and possible at another location.

If I had a good image of the parts on the board, I probably can see how it is. The card side of the board would be universal to work with lots of products.

What for the RK3188 ? No, pretty sure youre wrong - I ve seen several different RK3188 headunits inside and theyre not, even the MTCD units have a totally different SoM and my RK3188 tv box has a totally different board.

As has been mentioned many, many, many times previously in this thread, the latest Lollipop ROMs are all MTCC and have an MCU check that only allows flashing on KLD MTCC and the last 2 versions of KLD MTCB MCUs. @dsa8310's ROM fools the MCU check and @Malaysk's ROM removes the MCU check, meaning ANY MTCB or MTCC head unit can use the latest Lollipop ROMs. The wiki also explains this.

And if you have a Klyde unit lower than the last 2 MTCB versions, then there is the storing possibility that you can update to an MTCC MCU anyway, also mentioned numerous times in this thread and in the wiki.

To install @dsa8310's ROM you will need to search this thread for instructions and READ them thoroughly before flashing.

If @dsa8310 would like to write a small paragraph with instructions on how to install his latest ROM the I will happily add them to the first post so they are easy for people to find. If he does not, I will add them anyway if someone finds the post with his instructions in.
I really appreciate your support, it could seem like I'm not reading anything and like I want all the info with no effort, but I spend a lot of time reading many threads related with MTCB units and I also try to help people with my little knowledges. By the other hand, I have learnt a lot with your wiki so thank you for that.
Finally, regarding to my first question, I would like to know whether I can update my MCU to MTCC. In this case, I have MTCB-ZD9-V2.72 and I don't know if I have any chance to avoid my unit will be obsolete.

I m sorry but you cannot update to MTCC, only KLD units can, late KLD ROMs have an MCU check that verifies that you have an MTCC MCU (or one of the last 2 KLD MTCB MCUs), however, @dsa8310's ROMs fool this check and so allow the very latest Lollipop ROMs to work on ANY MTCB unit, so yours wont be obsolete.

@typos1 do you know if anybody has tried the virtual memory script for 1GB ram machines
Yeah, several people did, a few months back, do a thread search. Of course all @dsa8310's posts will have been removed, but you can see what people say about it, there may even be a record of what dsa said if someone quoted him, which could mean instructions on how to enabled the script are still viewable. If not you ll have to ask him how to enable it in his thread . . . providing youre not one of the 16 (!!) people on his ignore list !!!!!
