After going to a few different places, my signal seems to be worse with this new modem. I used Speedtest and looked at the dbm of my signal and each was worse than with other modems. Will probably go back to NK1.

It was noted that Lollipop modems on Kit Kat would cause issues, just wanted to try it out anyway.

It's early, but I think I am having similar experience. In my case I just think it's this phone, this the 4th phone clnr . My first phone ended up being the best..then 2 in a row with major issues ..blown speaker and one that kept boot looping.

If you want to be 100% with no root (and maybe never any root) than yes if you'd like to keep root than follow this post

I have a question, is it possible to root on lollipop? I unrooted because someone wanted to buy it, but then they backed out, and I was wondering if its still possible? just need a general idea.

Please use the search function before posting, this has been answered many times. Currently no, at this point the most of the main developers have backed away from the device to take on other projects so root will come when? No idea but it may be possible with CVE-2014-8609

My phone is rooted with Safestrap. I want to upgrade as if I were a standard person. Don't mind losing root (only really use it for aesthetics, dpi change and to freeze apps), so what would I have to do to not lose anything, if possible?

Root junkys Google plus page also alluded to a possible root method for lollipop. Something seems to be going on somewhere.

Rootjunky just posted a video. It requires root access already. Bummer....
