If you talk about the photo sphere 360º that has in nexus, you should install the google camera and galery for that!

hey mate, i've installed this app on my z1 and works with no problems
try to wipe your cache and install again

I also have the stock lollipop rom , and it works great on z1c. 4k is smooth, and timeshift works perfect. Not sure what's up on your side.

I don't know either, I am using D5503_Customized US_1279-6214_14.5.A.0.242_R2D Prerooted,
I did try againg, restored nandroid backup, flashed, wiped cache and ART cache, no change, I will wait for an another mod to come out, other mods like Intelligent gesture and animated tabs clock works fine on my device.

I got it sorted out, it was my fault, accidently overwrited SomcMovieCreator in priv-app by wrong file,

I can confirm now 120fps works 100%

Is it possible to have 20-15mp in auto mode? I used the file from this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/themes-apps/mod-xperia-camera-unlocked-t3071161
It works as well as hdr in 20mp. But the camera shows very strange behaviour in auto mode in low light conditions: sometimes it's ok, sometimes it takes a picture with awful color noise even if there is a 2seconds interval between shots and it doesn't detect correct scene sometimes.
It seens that some more files are missing to make this mod work.

I finally made!!!!

i'm here to tell you how to obtain 4K & Timeshift video without Xposed Framework and put to work on our awesome Xperia Z1/Z1C

After a lot of experimentation i finally got it!!!!

Remenber that all others mods published here, this one has a speciel requests to be made:

1. I don't take responsability for any tipe of damage that you can cause to your phone using this mod.
2. This mod was tested only in a Xperia Z1 (6903 and 6943) and a Xperia Z1C, so I don't know if it'll work in other devices;
3. it's not necessary to de-odex your rom, BUT you really need to be in a stock rooted one.

Said all that...

Let's go:

METHOD 1

Thanks to @iedafarha that made a flashable zip...

just reboot into recovery mode and flash the 4K_lp_FLASHABLE.zip.

reboot and Enjoy!


if, JUST IF, method 1 doesn't work for you, always has a plan B


PLAN B:

1º - Download and unpack the 4K_lp.zip, after that copy to your SD CARD.

2º - Reboot into Recovery and make a nandroid backup;

Reboot your Z1.

3º - Now using a file explorer (I always use Root Explorer) copy the content of the unpacked zip in your respective folders.

IMPORTANT: remember that in LOLLIPOP the folder has a 0755 permission and all the files has the same 0644.

to make easy change permission, put the file explorer to show by date.

Done that, just reboot your phone and enjoy!!!

Ps: After some users made a lot of tests, I have the pleasure to announce that this mod corrects the 60fps bug on the Z1C

camera problem

My camera is super blurry. Please see the attached image . Also I cannot take a picture. my screen hangs and no message if i take a picture. happens to my entire system like camera360 app, QR scanner, whatsapp web , etc.,

My device is Xperia z1 C6902. Locked bootloader, Pre rooted stock Lollipop firmware.

I followed the first method ( flashed via recovery). I am not complaining the app. But what could be the problem ? Is it a physical problem ?:crying::crying::crying:

Don't worry.
Take a backup and try,if anything goes wrong restore it
