Lollipop update.

Hello all,

I purchased an at&t variant moto x from a guy on a buy sell trade group on Facebook. The phone is legit and released from at&t. I have my cricket wireless Sim in now and it works great; however, I didn't think about it being released. Will this affect getting an update to lollipop? Am I left with rooting my device if I want lollipop?

If your device is running the stock firmware and Stock recovery and no system changes, it should still come. When it's out. And your turn comes up. Sim doesn't matter, it's the firmware that matters. ?
