Could you please make video review where you go through all of options / apps and so on this device. I have newer owned Android Wear device and thus I have no idea (well a bit by looking different videos) what's in it.

This far I have seen only weather, pedometer, heart rate monitor and clock faces. There have to be somethig more in this device?

All Android Wear devices have essentially the same features, you can look on YouTube for some vids...

I'm having a mare trying to get hold of one here in the UK. I first pre-ordered from Expansys and once they had stock they said I needed to contact them for some security checks. I did this and then they started fobbing me off saying that they don't have stock, but I can order from the website and they will source one from their supplier. I asked if I could do that and then they said that the SKU numbers are all incorrect. So...I cancelled there and order from Clove. They dispatched straight away and it was on route today...except they totally messed up the delivery address and it was heading to someone else. I managed to cancel it after a number of phone calls and now it's being rescheduled to be delivered tomorrow. Hopefully to the correct address this time! Fingers crossed I have it for the weekend.

same story with me expansys/clove, cancelled expansys and ordered yesterday from Clove.

Got it this morning, much nicer than my samsung gear live that I had.
I just hope net year the resolution/battery will be higher, since we are spoiled with the phone resolution.

Funny thing was that the incorrect address was literally round the corner from me. All the driver had to do was drive about 10 seconds and I would have it! Oh well.

I've currently got the G Watch which I love. Just that all the good watch faces out there are made for circular screens. The resolution is fine for me, it doesn't need to be super high res, plus I'm fine with charging every night. The thing is, if you were to get 2 or even 3 days from a charge how would you remember to charge? At the moment my nightly routine is to put my phone on my charge mat and put my watch next to it on its charger. Pick both up in the morning and I'm good for the day.

Screen Faces

How do you upload the screen faces to the LGGWR. Also I ordered mine on ebay from South Korea and payed $14.00us shipping and received watch in a week. Thanks

If you download a face from the play store it will be in you faces on the watch.

Thanks seepage, but I should have been more clear. I have a few watch faces saved to my computer that I would like to put on watch. I put watch in cradle and connected cable to usb but watch not seen by computer. When I get time I will see if I can find face theme folder on phone. If I do I will try putting them in there, unless someone knows of a better way.

Just because i like to be different...
...how dark does the screen go in low power mode? I work in a dark control room all day and if the watch is too obtrusively bright it'll be too conspicuous for me to have laid on the desk.

HUH???? saved on your pc huh? what files are they, jpg files????
Watchfaces are APPS, Android Apps. You download them from the Play store or sideload the apk files, then it'll automatically push the live working watchface to the watch.

Yeah Facer watchfaces are different. But the same. You download the Facer app and it's own Watchface is pushed to the Watch. You then use the app to customize it and modify.
Other watchfaces, regular ones, you download it form the play store and that's it. Some have settings on it which you modify in the app.

OMG. Can you think it this way:

He/she have downloaded watch face for Facer from facerepo. Now he/she go that .face or .zip watch face file on his computer. He/she just doesn't know that point is pushing this file to phone, then find it from Facer app, install it and then send to device from app.

This might be the case. Or how do I know lol, I don't have this Facer app, or even this (or any other) Android Wear watch.

Thanks for a the replies and discussing the question. I am new to android watch wear. After reading all the replies and goggling to death. I have come to the conclusion I need facer program to work with the images I down loaded from facerepro. If I am successful making any I will share. Thanks

It's better triste watch r at 270€ or a smartwatch 3 for 60€?...this make a lottare offerte doubts in me. The g watch r is way better, but the price is totale different in this case.

Comparison pictures show:
LG G Watch R + Nexus 5 (445 PPI)
LG G Watch R + Galaxy Nexus (315 PPI)
LG G Watch R + Pebble (176 PPI)

On a side note: As the G Watch R display is capable of color/dimmed pixel it renders shapes antialiased compared to the pebble 2-state e-Ink. There is space to increase the pixel density but for now, I will more likely go with that extra battery capacity instead throwing it at tons of useless pixels.

The screen is very nice. Too bad we cant get Flipboard or some other reader all which takes advantage of this high ppi.
