Looking for a working Playstore for Honor 8x

Hi all.

A client of mine has a Huawei Honor 8x phone, which to my understanding had a functioning version of Google Play before it was reset to Factory defaults. and despite both our efforts we have failed to install a working version, and she is unable to run a large amount of her applications as they depend on Google Play services to run.

Please can someone advise on ways to install a working version of Google's services which are compatible with this phone?
