CRIA and CRIB are broken on Sprint. Sprint had a beta wifi app that causes WIFI Forced Closed errors. Confirmed that all is ok on VZW and ATT but a NO GO on Sprint. I cant currently get past CRI5 as thats what I have and nothing later to test. Anyone ever seen anything between CRI5 and CRI9?
cri5 had great battery life is what ik. I'm going back to samfail for better

So, I'm currently on my third Galaxy S8+ device because it never can get updates from AT&T. I've always had to update manually. Support at AT&T has been dismal at best, but they have tried and they always just say it's a phone issue and have replaced them. The last time was a few months back and I still cannot get updates, and just end up getting them manually.

Anyway, doing the update through https://samsung.firmware.science/ forces a device wipe. I can't go through that again, as it's a pain.

I'm currently on the CRE9 version.

Does anyone have the ODIN files to update through so I don't lose everything on my phone? I've looked and haven't really been able to find exactly what I need.

Just Odin these files ONLY BL,AP,CP and Home CSC on your AT&T S8+ it still will Erase everything on phone but the SD card. If you have Samsung Acct. in phone it has saved all your apps and maybe photos or Google has backed them up. Phone will be like New and on Setup Screen for you to set it up again as when it was new.

No need, you can technically dirty flash the OTA. When you see "Script succeeded" towards the end of the log, reboot the phone (think it's holding bixby/vol down/power) and it'll reboot. It should reboot back into recovery, then reboot the phone. Should keep all data intact.

That's a lot of versions to go through doing that though

How are you liking Pixel 3? I'm rocking the S9 + Until the S10 cones out...If the S10 doesn't blow the doors off the competition... I'll likely be done with Samsung altogether...
Thanks guys for all the help and guidance on the S8 plus:good:
so i was hyped to receive the 3 xl, but then seeing posts about 15+ problems right at launch got me worried. Like im waiting for an update to see if it fixes most of the problems. but overall im enjoying this phone. if i were you wait awhile until Google addresses them.
