Pretty sure it will say unofficial. You will not get updates because your not enrolled in the beta program.

Okay, I managed to get this installed (learning experience for sure) and just finished reinstalling and setting up everything (thank god for samsung backup) and the only thing I need now is to get adhell 2 working. Has anybody managed to get adhell 2 working? I need to get rid of all of the AT&T bloat and facebook.

Worked perfectly for me. Just put the .zip update file on my SD card. Did "apply update from SD" and after ~10-20 mins I was running Oreo with all of the AT&T features built in! Thank you !

Yep thats how I did it. Just put the .zip file on your phones SD card (I just dropped it in the root directory). Then boot your S8+ into recovery mode. Press and hold the Bixby and volume up buttons, then press the power button. Let go of the power once the phone turns on, while still keeping the Bixby and volume up buttons pressed. Let go of the rest of the buttons when you see the blue screen with the Android logo. You will get a message about no update found or something like that but after a few more seconds you will get a black screen with options. Use vol up and down to move your selection. Highlight the apply update from SD option and press the power button. Then if you put the zip file in the root you should see it right there. Highlight it and hit power button. Now just be patient. The update is now installing. Mine took at least a good 10 mins and it can stay at one section for several mins but just leave it. It will finish. The phone will then reboot when its done. The first boot will be much longer than normal, but only the first time. That's it your done!

Did it wipe your phone?

You need to be on GL. Yes it wipes the phone.

You can ADB sideload or update from sd-card. Remember you need to be on G955USQU1AQGL baseband to update

Can you share the process on how you pulled it from the phone. I have been trying to pull it for TMO S8 and Unlocked S8 but so far only got .bin file but is not flashable. Can you please PM me?
