Looking for Garmin Mobile XT

Besides Garmin Mobile XT. still have any GPS software there is using satellite ?

It's a free download, you only need to buy the maps if you don't have them.
Obviously it's a free download, but the program itself also needs some activation code. At least if you'd like to use the internal GPS of X1.
If you don't like to buy Garmin maps, there's a quite nice and legal alternative
Some guys at openstreetmap.org did a very nice job and made some free maps for Garmin devices.
EU and Germany could be downloaded here:

These files work also with Garmin XT (latest version) on X1.
Have a look around in the wiki, if you may find maps for your country.
There are also other nice projects that support the Garmin format, e.g.:

Now I only have to figure out how to get it to work with Garmin Mobile XT
I'm trying to get them to work too, if I figure it out I'll post how I did it (as I'm sure you will)!

In a few words:
The OSM files that have been created need to get converted to Garmin format.
You'll find the tools and description also at the openstreetmap wiki.
At the end you'll get a file named gmapsupp.img
Place this file on your storage card in the Garmin folder.
You'll need a registered copy of Garmin XT to make it work though!
