No, no other files are needed. If you lose root access, use chainfire's supersu file and flash via recovery

You would put that file on your phone. Once you boot up, then you would copy that file into the directory that i mentioned. It will overwrite that file. Then you reboot your phone, and home button should work.

Correct. Only thing i didn't give you was the link to chainfire's supersu, but you can easily find that

I don't think twrp works with 4.0 and up. We pretty much stayed with cwm all the way to 4.4.4. Not saying that it couldn't be built though

Flash it via recovery after you complete setup of the rom. After flashing this, then you do the home button fix

Flashing is the same thing as installing. In this case, with the supersu zip, you flash it via recovery

hi , sorry to talk about this old phone.... but i think this is something to talk....
is my idea to do a mini arcade conect usb sticks, with dock , hdmi to tv....
BUT, is kind hard to find some thing at this time.
i have a lot of .img versions and etc. but not sure if this work with retroarch. (from 2014 i think, from this forum...)
i remember some time i install a modded version of the official 2.3 with lapdock, (in this version you can install apps on linux)... but is very dificult to find in this forum (but exist, so don't give up)
now, i want to do a arcade mini machine, and have a atrix, with his dock... i working on it. (with some rom with hdmi as to work) but the compatibility with emulators or some frontend like emuelec, or lakka is null.
i think we/i' need a atrix/linux/developer professional XD
