Looking for some help with my ROM

I made a ROM from XWJS3 on samfirmware.com. I put everything on it and triple checked everything. Everytime I try to flash it, when booting it just stays at the galaxy S animation and vibrates 3 times over and over.

Anyone know what causes that?

lol....had this same problem with a new rom i am playing with. what kernel are you trying to use with it?

mine was. i was trying to use a 2.2 kernel on 2.2.1 rom....it never booted. got to the point where it was trying to populate the databases and it vibrated over and over....

Thanks I'll try putting speedmod in there instead. If this works you're a saint!

run logcat while booting and it will tell you where its dying
