Now that more people have gotten their phones, can you guys chime in and say whether you have a lose volume rocker.

My volume rocker is lose and makes a little rattle when I tap it with my finger, I can also move it side to side. My power button is perfectly solid however.

I have a 6P

My first one had this issue, (along the with a raised back panel and some cosmetic marks on the bezel).

Second one was fine though. Pity I had to RMA that one as it got stuck in the official Folio case.

Third one was fine too.

No mine doesn't do this. Solid volume rocker and with good fitment. My power button however, DOES sound off every now and again. Can't always reproduce it.

Yes I also have the raised back panel as well.

Google is now claiming that lose buttons are not a good enough reason to RMA devices and that it's simple offset tolerances that should be accepted by the customer.

They know about the issue and are trying to sell it off by saying it is acceptable to have rattling buttons because they allow tolerances in the build.

This is a simple lie by the way because something that's 1.5 millimeters wide as these buttons are, would NEVER have a tolerance of error to nearly over half of millimeter. And even if the tolerance was really that high, it would be made up by rubber inserts and mounting brackets tightly aligning and holding things in place
