Rooting the phone still removes the DRM however you root it?

No alternative way to save the DRM or reinstall it?

Actually it has to do with unlocking the bootloader and rooting typically goes hand in hand with bootloader unlocking so it kind of does.

I heard some people unlock the bootloader and use root to debloat and make certain system changes that persist after unrooting. I don't know why they unroot other then google pay as Magisk allows google pay to work.

If you return to stock and lock bootloader do you regain Widevine Lvl 1?

not sure if it still works.

It says in the GitHub page there that development has been halted and it doesn't work with the newest version of the Netflix app. Haven't tried it myself as I don't watch movies on my smartphone, but shoot that sucks.

Why shouldnt 1440p work? It also works in youtube.
