- with the phone turned off, you are holding vol- and power, you are entering the menu and I am getting information on the bootloader with me to hold vol + above 3 seconds to enter the eRecovery.
- in the eRecovery itself, you restore the system to the official latest rom (it is downloaded automatically from huawei servers)

let me know if you can because I could not in any way download and install the original firmware.
I've tried both by erecovery and by Huawei Desktop.
I can not restore the original image of the phone.
I also tried starting from the B350 on the site, but nothing.
I follow your story

Or flash Stockrecovery,System,Cust and Boot.img via fastboot
After installing the img files boot into eRecovery and restore to the latest Version B359

Different Possibility:

Download the B356 Version from Firmware Finder B 356 FullOTA-MF-PV and install in Twrp.
Install First http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G2064/g1719/v101130/f1/full/all/cn/
Install second http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G2064/g1719/v101130/f1/full/update.zip
Reboot and make a Factory Reset you are on Stock B356

I don´t know,i have Problems with the Fingerprintsensor,i do not know why it does not work
I will wait for the Oreo Update and then we keep looking.
The update should come soon...

Hello, so basically I just flashed this rom 100% works. But how to lock the cpu frequency to overclock it to the maximum for playing game in smoothness without any lag and choppy because everytime I overclock to the maximum speed, the cpu going down after I play game for a few mins. While charging the cpu never let us to overclock it and the big cluster always going down to 807MHz. Is there a way to LOCK the cpu frequency to the max as possible?? I use this phone to connect to pc and mirror for game stream, but since the cpu always cause the trouble and my gameplay always choppy and lagging (used to play in 50-60 fps, maybe the temperature is also the cause of the cpu freq to clock down, then the game become 30 fps). I noticed the wq_power_saving in misc option, I wonder wtf is that, I cant even disable it, maybe that is the cause?

I'm really excited to try this ROM! I've rooted a couple of android phones but I'm unsure how you do it with this one..

Do you have to unlock the bootloader and then flash twrp? How do you flash twrp? Then once in twrp what do you wipe before flashing?

I've had this phone a year and the chineese fw is total junk! I hate it! Not been getting notifications properly for a whole year and really wanna get this ROM! Nice work!

And its says to reboot bootloader and press the top and bottom button, thats how I get into the TWRP once I do get into my stock ROM after flashing the Custom one I cant go back to TWRP without needing to re-flash it again,

I saw someone ask a similar question so I also tried to flash the fix img file in TWRP but I still get straight back to the Stock ROM again..

Please can you help me?

Unlock your Bootloader with your Unlockcode,the Phone makes a Factory Reset.

After Reboot,reboot into Bootloader.(Power off the Phone,Press Volume down and hold and put the USB Cable in the Phone,release volume down when the phone boots into bootloader

Flash the Twrp with this Command:fastboot flash recovery name of twrp.img (fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.1.1-1-HN8.img)

Reboot into Twrp,Power off the Phone,Hold Volume up and Power Button at same Time to boot into Twrp.

Wipe everything,System,Data,Cache,Dalvic Cache,Internal Storage and Vendor and reboot again in Twrp.

Wipe Data with "Yes" and reboot into Twrp again.

Install the Rom and reboot and wait 5-10 minutes to start into System.

That's all

Still doesn't work buddy. I've tried it several times. Only one I can get to install is your v1 using b350 but now I've got outdated android security patch so bit gutted but don't know what else to do.. Every time I try and instal the b356 v2. 5 I boot into the stock ROM.

I only rooted the phone to try and get rid of phone manager! Hate that app. Completely ruins such a good phone

You cant get an up to date ROM with a security patch, for me I wanted to root my phone to be able to recieve notifications as the phone itself is incredible but not getting notifications just ruins it. I have tried all the roms and nothing works as it should.

Believe me I've tried everything! Over the past 3 weeks and I'm left with my phone worse than it was before.

I the b350 ROM is the only one that works for me and the security patch is over a year old now. Oh and it still has phone manager and I still don't get notifications, I cannot find how to relock the bootloader and put the stock ROM back on so I've had to scrap the phone and buy a new one.

Amazing phone! Terrible software.

I agree, resetting the phone back to original state is crazy uncomfy. I did it 3 times successfully though. But i cannot tell the exact way, because everytime it felt different...

Also i agree that beside root/magisk you barely have any reason, all existing roms base on stock and suffer from the same issues. Perhaps this changes with Oreo, when hopefully project treble is supported...

About the notifications: enable wished apps to ignore battery optimization (special permissions), set them also to "don't close when locking" in the apps battery settings, and disable the "cleaning in locked state" in the manager.

Install Rom (Takes about 5 min)
Reboot (2 min)
The Phone Reboots 2 Time at the first Reboot,this is normal.

No erecovery
