This works for the ATT Ion ICS
I am not responsible for bricking your device so use with caution !
Code:
Step 1 :
Download BOTH files and Install on your att xperia ion.

step 2:
Download

Extract the files,
run runme (windows)
Make sure phone has USB debugging and you have the Correct Drivers installed.
On program runme - enter 1 and press enter
enjoy root!

Rooting could be debated as development, but not posting links.. that is no developement.

    Technically Rooting would follow under a category of Development, not general?

    Rooting is general information. Development is for developing.
