Yep - it's almost perfect fit, but not 100% perfect - there's a very slightly raised cover edge on one side now but I can't be bothered to trim the cover anymore / fix it somehow as the problem is only cosmetic and not really noticeable unless you've got OCPD ;)

Mine definitely does, but then again I don't have lots of apps.

I usually don't even charge it overnight anymore, just when syncing and in the car, on my way to/from work.

I sent them (virginaccessories) a couple of emails to ask for clarification, but they don't bother to answer - I would guess that you're right, they are falsely advertising it too (probably just copy/pasting info from Nokia official web page and not bothering to check what they've got in the actual stock). Their prices are also a bit on the high side.

Great, thanks for the info, think I`ll invest in the BP-4L at some point then, 1300mAh is a way too small capacity battery for a smartphone, especially one that it's main advertising features are live tiles that update constantly in the background

I bought an Anker BP-4L 1600mah battery from Amazon for my fiancée's Lumia 710. It fits fine once the piece of foam is removed from the battery cover and so far battery life seems much better :good:

I've got the BP-4L in my 710, you can strip the inside of the cover, but you can also trim the edge of the battery too (not too far, just take off the very edge of the plastic), this helps the cover fitment much better too.

I've got loads of genuine batteries from when I worked there ;)

Hey, how did you trim the battery edge?! I did not dare cutting the battery itself, just in case I causes it to short or something and it blows up while in my pants back pocket. I need both of my buttocks.

Take a very sharp knife and slowly strip away the edges of the battery. You'll see that most of the corners are just plastics. If you take very slim slithers off then it's easy to see when to stop.

wat kind of battery can i get for a lumia 800?

1600 mAh??

anyone can link me ??
Honestly I don't think it's gonna work. When I removed the battery cover under the digitizer I noticed that there's not much gap between the cover and the battery unit, so even assuming that with some soldering you're able to plug a bigger battery without screwing anything (unlikely) you still won't be able to put the battery cover back in position...

Sent from my Lumia 800 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App

Sorry, but I do not speak English, I'm using a translator, really need help, I bought a battery BP-4L for Lumia 710 and when the phone is in charge of 46% will self off. When I reload it has reached 100%, but it seems that the phone is a mistake! Is there any way to fix this? Can you help me?

have anyone tried any of those 2000+ mA batteries offered in Ebay????
Unless it replaces the entire back cover, it's probably a bogus number. You can't just magically make a Lion battery denser, and do it at a $10 price point. I would stay away from those.

The other ones in the thread are regarding using a battery that you remove part of, to cram it into the phone. I don't have any battery issues with my 710 personally. I also don't use data except wifi, so that's probably a big part of it. My battery life is stupidly good. I honestly don't even think about charging it.

Anyways, it's common for bogus battery numbers to be posted on ebay, because who is going to mail a $10 battery back to China. And how are you going to test the true capacity.
