Hey, I was wondering if anyones backed up their phone on the PC with the call recorder, then installed emui 10 via dload method.

Im wondering if the call recorder still works on emui 10 using this method. thanks

Ok, after seeing this updated version I finally caved, installed yesterday and so far it's definitely smoother than emui 9, battery life is still great, & no bugs found.
Also got a small patch 2 update straight after rebooting:

10.0.0.155(C432E7R1P5patch02)
This update fixes compatibility issues with some third-party apps.

I agree with some other comments that it's not a huge difference from 9.1 but it's still better.

I'm on Vodafone contract, but bought from Carphone Warehouse so the phone is unlock.

I've put the files in the dload folder as per instructions and have pressed the power + volume up + volume down buttons to force update but every time it fails.
Can someone please advice which is the correct way?

U don't use it that way... Copy files to USBC flash drive go to phone dialer type *#*#2846579#*#*
Then select memory card update the rest will follow..

To update from 10.0.0.154 to 10.0.0.155 do I need to flash all 3 files again, and will that wipe the phone again? Initial flash to 10.0.0.154 worked great and got patch01 update automatically (on Voda UK, unlocked)

Just be aware that to install from Easy Firmware you need to install their extractor tool on your computer. When the first line of the instructions is "disable your antivirus" that should be a good clue that it's not to be trusted.

Tempted to do this on Vodafone UK. Obviously it wipes the phone, if I backup with hi suite will I be able to restore afterwords even after new Android version? Is Android pay still working?
