As ussual - settings - apps - running - gplay services - stop. Google play is still accesable after that

Yeah, it was announced on some tech sites that Google enabled it for select devices running 4.4.1 and above. Awesome stuff!

I used BootUnlocker in the playstore. A two to lock or a tap to unlock. No data loss.

You would unlock, flash, reboot then loch again.

Two questions:
Setting/Mobile network settings: Does 4G toggle stick?
*#*#4636#*#* under Phone Info, what does it show under "Set preferred network type"?

1. The 4G (LTE) setting doesn't stick for me but it does seem to trigger a reset of the data connection which usually picks up LTE if that signal is in range.

2. Mine defaults to "WCDMA preferred". LTE works with that setting and it won't stick if you change it.

This all assumes that you have a hybrid radio installed with a data radio that supports LTE (.33 or lower) and are on a network like T-Mobile USA that uses Band 4 for LTE in your area.

It says WCDMA and once you do that it switches back to 3G. To get the LTE icon I used the Nexus 4 LTE modem flasher app (on google play) and applied it to the build.prop. After it rebooted I went into settings and toggled it to LTE and it switched.

I'm having this issue too with .98 + .33 Hybrid modem. LTE won't remain ticked, defaults back to 3G after exiting the screen.

Here's an article that covers it.

For clarification this function is the "Cast screen" option on the pull down menu and in display settings. Casting to a Chromecast from an app like YouTube has been working since the first build of this ROM.

use bootunlocker app from play sore it won"t wipe ur sd card and it will lock the bootlocker and u can easily unlock when u want to flash rom

Whoops!

So, I messed up and could use a bit of help from any good samaritans out there. Feel free to PM you reply so as not to clog up the thread. I accidentally "updated" TWRP to a version that works with neither this ROM, nor my previous ROM. I also can't figure out how to get my PC to recognize my now bootlooping device (it won't even show up when in bootloader mode). I've got Wug's installed there with all of the latest drivers and updated TWRP and SU, I just can't get them to the phone. I know I'm not the first person to do this. Thoughts?

LTE works fine for me, I applied it using the app mentioned in my previous post. However I did still have to choose it in settings, regardless of whether or not it stuck, it made it hop on LTE.
