This is one of the prime example for nothing is impossible... I lost the hope in a day or two after N5 images released and devs started saying port is very difficult.. Only day before strday I came to know still work is going on and today you guys pulled it off successfully... Can't say how grateful N4 community for you... Grt work guys... Only ppl like you bring the Android to devices Google and OEM's said they can't get it..

The nexus 5 has 2300mAh battery but the N4 2100mAh so here is the result.

Dunno if it can be "fixed" or that if it even affect the battery stats or not

So far so good here. Use my n4 as my primary internet with tmo and the APN/tether hacks even work great. No issues with GPS, camera...all seems great! Aside from the android l bugs I'd say this is perfect! Thanks for the hard work

You might try replacing the button. You can buy new power and volume buttons fairly cheaply on Amazon or eBay and they're not very hard to replace.

Open up your nexus 4 shell and put a small tape on top of the power button ( inside ). I fixed my power button after suffering for months.

Anyhow, this is annoying.

I managed to install the apk from whatsapp website tho. Just a bit unreliable in terms of play store handiness. [emoji106]

Try Power Button to Volume Button from the Play Store. I've used it before on phones with power button problems and just tested with the L preview and it works fine. It also gives you an option to have a persistent notification you can press to turn off the screen (see attached screenshot).
