So after reading this comment, I walked over to my chromecast. Tried the new Android L "Cast Screen" feature. Nothing happened. Did not even find my Chromecast. Is casting working for anyone? I got a message that it isn't and I don't have a Chromecast to test

Screen cast bug exists on n5 and n7 too. It's an issue with the dev preview itself. So after reading this comment, I walked over to my chromecast. Tried the new Android L "Cast Screen" feature. Nothing happened. Did not even find my Chromecast.
Hopped into Youtube which is what I used the most in KitKat to cast to my TV, and it worked fine. So in-app casting works fine like it did in KitKat. Youtube ect. But the new "Cast Screen" feature does not work.
I am guessing that is either a problem with Android L preview itself or the fact that Google has yet to release the update for the chromecast yet.

Sorry if it came out serious sounding, wasn't meant to be.Don't get too seriousI'm able to install WhatsApp from the official website. Just looking for a simple workaround at the moment.
Having the operating system running well is more than enough![]()
That bug, I haven't seen that in years. Used to happen at the beginning of the cm7 Roms while they getting it all together. Trying to remember the fix.turning off the phone and plug in to charge...it automatically boots into recovery

I have heard that a couple times, check the list of apps that don't work on L in the second post and see if those games are on there and report back so we know this isn't a port bugFlashed the ROM and i just can say one thing: its AWESOME
Everything works fine and very faster than KitKat, im loving this. The thing that dont work is some games.. But anyway its very good.
Nice work guys!! About battery nothing to say at this moment i will can talk about this tomorrow but its normal atm.

Good catch and temporary fixcreate a xml file named android.hardware.telephony.gsm.xml with below code and push it to system/etc/permissions with rw-r-r permission.

I believe a couple apps were mentioned a few pages back that will do it. Also check the n5 forum since they are ahead of us in fixes and app solutionsDoes anyone know how to wake up Nexus 4 from volume button on this rom? My power button is nearly broken. Tks

Unfortunately there are problems coming from kit Kat or one of the test builds because they were still pretty buggy and we smashed most of the bugs out before we released the betaThanks for help guys, really good rom !!
But i have another question: am i the only one who have the prob "UI system" which is force closing ?
The only solution i've found is to make a clean flash of the rom again so that's not really cool to do![]()
