Are you using the L version of defconoi's kernel? That should give you the correct ramdisk edits to be fully permissive. If not you are gonna have to redownload his kernel because your ramdisk is broken

I'm not totally clear on what your tool(s) are going to do but it sounds like you would be better off in the generic development forums. Not every device segregates "original development" from "development" in the forums either.

Not really tools. It is going to be restructuring aosp itself to more easily accept new devices and separate any modifications out of the actual source to allow more portability between versions of android

Not really tools. It is going to be restructuring aosp itself to more easily accept new devices and separate any modifications out of the actual source to allow more portability between versions of android

Sounds a little like Xposed Framework.

It's going to have be another layer like that otherwise you are going to go crazy trying to keep up with all the updates that Google has for AOSP, not to mention the mods that OEM's like HTC and Samsung make to it.

Download the one specific for L. If defconoi doesn't have one specific for L and just anykernel version then you are gonna have to flash the ROM again and his anykernel kernel so it gets the ramdisk edits

Anyone on the official flo-81c and hammerhead-81c. I need a copy files that it wouldn't let me dump. So if you could adb pull those files for me, it would be greatly appreciated cause I kinda need them.

I need /bin/netcfg /bin/run-as /bin/uncrypt and etc/dhcpd/dhcpd-run-hooks (the run hooks missing is why dhcp WiFi wasn't working on my previous flo build)

It shouldn't matter which version truthfully but I would prefer to have them from 81c so everything matches up perfectly.

I will push out a basic preview image for flo with the modified boot.IMG to make sure the base is clean and fully works before we go any farther

Attached is a zip of the hammerhead lpv81c version of those files.

The zip version of the flo 81c ROM is available here so I can get those files for you from that zip if none of the flo users respond.

i need to install synapse ukm or busybox first and then install Lprev kernel from def?? i just cant get it right ohh

Same thing is gonna go for you ramjet, gonna push up a plain preview image with the aosp boot.IMG (with my sepolicy of course) to test the n5 base also

If you get status 7 on the installation than you need to update your recovery image. I believe defconoi recommends the newest twrp
