Hi,
I have M8 (y__13) with S-On. I have reflashed wrong m7 twrp and then relocked and flashed Stock RUU.
Right now M8 does not use battery, when it is connected to usb with power, then it works fine when I disconnect and then doing some random tasks, M8 shut down. When I restart, the logo appears and shut down again.
When I connect to USB to power until TWRP is loaded, then disconnect USB, it works fine on battery on twrp until I reboot the system. It have reflashed stock and installed many custom roms, but none of the looks like run on battery. I have fully charged the battery. What could have caused this? any solution.

Your help is really appreciated.

Your sequence seems a little confused (maybe some things missing)?

If you successfully installed RUU, why is TWRP still on the device (it shouldn't be)?

You are completely right, it sounds a little bit confusing :)
I thought, flashing the stock RUU will solve the problem, but it did not. I even succeeded to run *#*#3424#*#* for battery life. It showed the battery life was OK.
Then I unlocked the bootloader and installed Twrp and tried different custom roms. None of the custom roms solved the problem either. So the problem is that the phone is working fine, when it is connected to USB (power supply), when i disconnect from USB, it is still running fine, as soon as I start opening for example an app, then it shuts down.
The strange part is that when the phone is in Twrp, it is runs fine on battery, I can install, backup, use file manager.

I really appreciate, if someone could come with a suggestion to solve my problem.

Since you installed RUU successfully, and the problem still persists (will not stay in OS on battery power) I unfortunately have to assume it is a hardware issue. Not sure why it would stay powered on in TWRP (while in battery power). But since RUU is a complete "stock" or factory image (writes all partitions), if it was a software problem, the RUU most likely would have fixed it.
