I had an email saying I had been chosen to participate in the beta, however I can't see anyway to download the update is it because my software version on my phone?

That's interesting as when I look in settings/about phone my ver is LGE-NX9(see screenshot) yet the previous screenshot from the my Honor app/device details it shows as LGE-N49

I had seen the post and read the required base level.....
After posting the message about not receiving anything, I noted an update was available via the my Honor app, I clicked without thinking, thought it was the beta update...it was only after it updated I noted it was a security update and now I'm on 6.0.0.188....
Will happily wait and see what happens, if I get it fine if I don't then again fine.

I have got email confirmation for beta update... But I don't know how to update... As mentioned in mail instruction beta app .. I don't have beta app in my phone and not able to find it anywhere... 
Yes, I have... But only supported by few cellular companies...

2Honor are now recruiting beta testers for Magic OS 7 on the Magic 4 Pro.
Open the My HONOR app, select club, on the top it should say Magic OS Beta recruitment, select sign up.
You have until 28th February to sign up, beta testing begins on March 2nd.
You must be running Magic UI 6.0.0.180.
