It's kernel side bug (4.4). Use latest F1Xy, Yaro fixed it. Also disable DVC

These tweaks improve quality without any effects, it's just better options for output
V4A it's equalizer who work after these options. So if you want, you can combine.

Thank you for this wonderful mod, it has increased the overall volume, but the in call volume is still on the low side for my tastes . Could you please be so kind to tell me which line I need to modify in the mixer_paths_tasha.xml to increase it more?

edit: I mean the in call volume coming from the phone, not the earphones

You can use equalizer in players like Poweramp, Neutron.
Or can use equalizers like Viper4Android, JamesDSP, Dolby

I'm getting distorted sound on further versions (1.4 and 1.41), previous versions were good.

To uninstall you can use Magisk Manager, or just reflash zip
I'll see what's the problem with psp emulator

Tested emulator, seems like works fine

I think there is an audio delay between 2 speakers and because of that, sound is distorted for me...I am talking about dual speaker mod. I compared with my other phone, which has same stereo mode (meizu 16th) and playing the same track was clearer, without any lags or latency...
