Make sure to set the video codec to H264 when using slow motion, there is a bug where it doesn't work otherwise.

No idea, try it and report the results

Dual Camera doesn't work on Pie due to changes to the camera driver. But you can use third party apps to record video with both cameras at the same time now.
Hi Cvolton, can you please name apps that can record video with both cameras at the same time? You made me so excited for this, i finally get to upgrade to Pie:) Dual camera is the only thing holding me back.

Hi Cvolton,
i use rooted 950f exynos with stock rom on pie. i install camera2 probe. i install your module but there are some problems.

-Camera drains charge very very fast,
-When video encoder H.265, ultra slow motion video dont open,
-when video encoder H.264 , ultra slow motion video record by itself
- Dual camera dont work

  • Recording in 4k60 consumes a lot of battery, as it is way more resource dependant than other mods
  • That is a known issue, the current workaround is to just use H264
  • Ultra Slow Motion may be broken on Pie, there is no real way for me to test that, as I'm using an S7 for development and that device doesn't support Super Slow Motion at all
  • Dual Camera support was completely removed from the camera driver by Samsung in Pie, so the mode currently only works on Oreo

Hello, can you confirm It can support 4k 120fps? because I know Exynos 8895 is support 4K UHD 120fps encoding and decoding with HEVC(H.265). If it's work, This is a great try.

Yes it support 4k uhd 120 fps only two camera app can record it.after extreme effort and research i found two app for 120 fps recording succes.120 fps is like wow.first download lg camera ap from attachment open it go to setting.in video choose video resolutin 3840x2160.
Than apply framerate 120 fps.record it.wow.
If u dont find 120 fps setting in app go to last setting tab choose edit camera script and paste this line.

preview-size=%pref_width%x%pref_height%
video-size=%video_width%x%video_height%
camera-mode=1
cam_mode=1
cam-mode=1
video-hfr=60
preview-fps-range=60000,60000
Press apply.wow amazing video recording

Use open camera on stock pie rom.go vedio setting
Choose resolution full hd
Than select frame rate 120
Than go to debugging option
Enable force 4k uhd video.
Wow now you can record 4k video with 120 fps.
Enjoy
My device s8 plus exynose with eclipse stock rom android 9.0
If u make any thread please credit me.because i did very hard job for make this miracle work.thanks

Kind of, you can force it to record 4k120 but the actual video will be upscaled from 2016x1134, so it's not worth it. If you wish to do this, you can add these parameters into "Snap Camera HDR" (or any other app that can record camera1 video properly on Samsung and supports custom parameters)
Code:
fast-fps-mode=2;preview-fps-range=120000,120000
Also make sure to set the video size correctly and the preview size might have to be 1280x720, although I'm not sure on that regard. As I've said, the end result will just be an upscaled 1136p video (which looks more like 720p)

This doesn't actually record 4k120, this will cause LGCamera to claim it's recording 4k120, when it's just doing 4k60... fake 4k60 at that, 4k60 recorded by LGCamera is actually upscaled from 2688x1516 (due to it not restarting the video preview when starting recording).

The preview-fps-range parameter is what actually sets the framerate and it is set to 60000,60000 - this means "record at a framerate between 60.000 and 60.000 FPS" (which the Samsung camera driver recalculates to 59.94, thank you NTSC standards). The option in LGCamera settings only chooses what framerate gets written into the video metadata. The Open Camera method does exactly the same thing, except you didn't even enable 60 FPS there (which is impossible on pre-S9 Samsung devices without modding the app, so it will just record 4k30.

HDR doesn't appear to be functional on my 935F on PIE. Also, one of the features listed is disabling post processing on the front facing cam, how do I turn on that feature?

Galaxy S7

Ahoj.

Pak to šlo.

Velká pochvala a respekt před tvojí prací.
Aplikace má nějaké mouchy, ale dá se to obejít tím, že prostě točíte jinak.

...................

Hello.
Successfully installed and tested in Liberec at a botanical 4k 60fps and subsequently slowed to 25fps in Vegas.

What awaited me was God's punishment.
Vegas can't work with VFR from smartphones.
So the fluctuation of each video in the range of 60 - 24fps, Vegas rewarded me with an incredible tear in the resulting video.

So all the files I had to put in Adobe Media encoder and convert to H624 60FPS CFR 70Mbs.

Then it worked.

It is absolutely necessary to manually lock the shutter to at least 1/60 or higher, otherwise the drop in images is even worse.

QUERY:
I didn't find it anywhere and it probably doesn't exist either ......
is it possible to force the application to spin only 60fps CFR?
No framerate fluctuations, even at the cost of the cell exploding in the heat.

Just 60fps and nothing in between.

Furthermore .... at 4k 60fps and 1080p 60fps, focus tracking works poorly. At 4K 30fps great. It is said to be a hardware error in the Galaxy S7.
I learned to sharpen manually, so I don't miss it, but I still ask.

In conclusion:
Great praise and respect for your work.
The app has some flies, but you can work around it by simply shooting differently.
