After install this module on S7 edge SurroundShot quality is very bad!
can you increase SurroundShot quality in next update?
The SurroundShot module hasn't been modified at all, it's exactly the same as stock

2. The selfie pro mode is unstable, espeacially changing the color temperature. After tweaking some setting, the camera fc immediately.
This is to be expected, changing manual focus and white balance causes it to crash, a workaround is to change them to auto in rear pro mode, since they share the same settings

Didn't work on Alexis rom. Uses ported S9 camera.
Got black screen and "camera failed" when I opened it.
This usually happens when it recognizes the wrong device and thus enables the wrong features (like enabling dual camera support on a phone that only has one rear camera). Choose custom settings in the installer according to the actual hardware capabilities of your device

Hello there
First of all, amazing work on this mod, it's awesome!
Question: does super slow mo work? Whenever I select it it says saving video even though I haven't started recording anything and the recording button is still there
Pressing the record button makes it say recording and the camera still moves all right but you can't exit the current screen (which still says saving video btw)
Does the feature work or is it a bug
Clearing shootingmodeprovider doesn't do anything.
Thanks again for your hard work

Edit: Forgot to add I'm using the S7 Edge G935F
Super Slow Motion doesn't work on the S7 as it doesn't have the required libraries. It's just enabled because I couldn't be bothered to add an option to disable it in the installer

Great work, but i had few issues
1. 48 fps doesn't work, it's 30 fps
2. 60 fps autofocus very slow, in 3rd party apps it's better
3. Night mode not working
1. this is a bug that was fixed at least 2 updates ago, can you confirm if it happens in the newest version?
2. make sure the video coming from the 3rd party apps is actually 60 FPS with something like mediainfo and that you're testing under the same light conditions, the autofocus capabilities are limited by the hardware itself, not software
3. night mode is a weird duplicate of the auto mode that just increases the ISO that's left in by Samsung, I just enabled that, it's not meant to replace gcam's night sight or anything like that

congratulations @Cvolton for your work, it's waaay better than zeroprobe's, not to mention that he is also charging money for a crappy camera mod, I made the mistake of buying it for an S9 back then and never got to make it work with my ROM so money completelly wasted

First off all, thank you so much for this long awaited awesome mod!!
Question: If i change to 24 / 25 / 30 FPS UHD modes, the stabilisation button isn't more highlighted? But this feature works on the stock camera app...

I disabled EIS in UHD for 2 reasons
1) It causes the recording to crash for me
2) Even if it worked, the video would be upscaled from 1536p then (this is what happens on the Note 8 for example)

Stock camera has EIS disabled everywhere above 1080p

I like both of them. Yes, this one's options are way better integrated but it doesn't remove that 4 GB file limit or FHD 10 minute recording time limit. The other one does. They both work for me, but i'm happy that this one came out and will be watching what happens next. If this one had the limit removal, i wouldn't mind paying for it as I did for the other one.

I haven't bothered to look at the 4 GB limit yet because it just restarts the recording and it skips only like 2 frames while doing that, so it's more or less harmless. The 10 min limit should be removed though, have you verified if it's still there with the latest version? (I can't really test this because I'm using an S7 for development and that device never had the limit in the first place)

Does this mod also allow changes to Edge Sharpness & DeNoise settings for photos?
(This is my favourite feature of zeroprobe's mod)
Samsung's defaults are way too high.

The version I tried yesterday was the latest one in the Magisk repo. The limit was there for FHD 60fps, so i tried recording in QHD 60fps, and I got up to 1 hour 40 minutes of recording before the recording stopped itself (i still had much space left). I had 2 split files, but I couldn't record longer than 1h40min. There was a fan blowing so the phone doesn't get overheated.

I usually record upto 6 hours of video at a time (yes, i have a stop button burn-in on my screen) and it works great using Camera Mod which gives me a single big file. Not that the splitted files are an issue (avidemux can merge tham really quickly), but the recording time limit is.

I just filmed some stuff with the 48fps mode on my S8 on version 7.6.86-2.2.5 and they look like 30fps. Adobe Premiere and Mediainfo also both say it is 30fps.

Also just out of curiosity, you say all resolutions up to 60fps are scaled from 2268p, could it be possible to enable 2268p resolution in the camera settings?

Thank you for creating thia amazing mod again.

I am not asking for E.T.A or anything, but will you release an android pie 9 version of this mode ? This was really my concern when I was updating to the beta, this mode was really hard to leave behind.

It's possible, I got it to work in a dev version, I'll be definitely bringing that possibility to a future update

The current ETA is whenever Note FE Pie comes out, assuming that even gets ported to the S7. If I get Pie, the mod will get Pie too

Hello,
Galaxy S8+ user, the mod installed itself correctly but I have a major issue : pro mode on front facing camera makes the app crash.
Tell me if you want a video or logs !

That would be really handy. That way I can add a 105% stabilisation crop effect to some shaky footage in Premiere Pro and still be at ~2160P.

Keep up the good work, and thanks again!
