Hi, i've scrolled all the pages and have yet to find any video sample of 4k60p and 240p1080.

I'd like to try this mod, sounds amazing. Thanks dev

Burst Shot not working. Sometimes crashes but sometimes it captures. Capture sounds come fast example: i shoot for 5 seconds, sounds come like i shoot 30-40 images but when i look photos, only 2 or 3 images are in there. I mean it is too slow to burst mode.

I wonder, would it be possible to add a repeat option to the timer when taking pictures? This way one can manually record a lot of pictures which can be put together as a timelapse when the phone is mounted on something.

This would be much better than the low quality 1080p hyperlapse feature.

The mod currently does not work on Android Pie. If the OP gets the android Pie he wlll update the mod to the android Pie. I tried changing simple things with root explorer, I was able to unlock 4k60fps on the camera app, but it records 30fps. Further modification needed I reckon, which is not my expertise. But good luck trying !

Hi, does this work with PIE? Was trying to install, and it prompted that it only works for OREO.

Also, may I ask if the HDR applies to 4k60 too?

Pie compatibility is being worked on. The new camera app is pretty bad in terms of functionality so I'm trying to port the Oreo one. It's mostly working but there are still a few bugs that I'd like to fix before doing a proper release.

And no, HDR doesn't work in 4k60 as of the current version (that might change for the S8/N8 soon though)

thanks for the reply!

Just curious though - why do u say that the new app is bad though? The only missing thing is Pro video mode from what I can see.

Is it also true there is no OIS or EIS even in stock camera app for 4k60?

Lastly, any chance of introducing HEIC (high efficiency for JPG) for photos? Thanks much!

The ROM doesn't have any native support for HEIC, so I'd have to write my own compressor, which isn't really worth it when I'm working with a camera app that already exists. I don't think Samsung Gallery can open HEIC either but I haven't tested that.

OIS is always enabled if EIS is disabled but it seems that you can't have both enabled at once for some reason. All modes can have OIS enabled - just disable video stabilization in the settings (yes, it's that confusing). It is technically possible for me to enable EIS in the 4k60 mode but then it would be upscaled from 1536p.

The new app is bad for exactly that reason - it's lacking features for no reason. I've seen the code - it's still there. You can even start recording in pro mode using the voice commands. On the other hand, it doesn't bring any improvements that would make up for it, they just redesigned the UI. Internally it's still more or less the same app.

Does it really support 90sec exposure time in PRO photo mode?
It does, but there's an issue where a visible ring appears around the image, so it isn't really worth it to go beyond. It's possible for me to enable even slower shutter speeds, but the ring ends up being the only visible thing at that point

It's incredible how much effort you are putting into this!

It it possible to reduce Samsungs sharpening in video and photos?
