Hi, i've scrolled all the pages and have yet to find any video sample of 4k60p and 240p1080.
I'd like to try this mod, sounds amazing. Thanks dev

The mod currently does not work on Android Pie. If the OP gets the android Pie he wlll update the mod to the android Pie. I tried changing simple things with root explorer, I was able to unlock 4k60fps on the camera app, but it records 30fps. Further modification needed I reckon, which is not my expertise. But good luck trying !Is it possible to manually change the settings from the root explorer?
like going in to the root directory to change the resolution and frame rate cuz im trying on the one UI (alexis rom) and its crashing.
Cheers!!
Pie compatibility is being worked on. The new camera app is pretty bad in terms of functionality so I'm trying to port the Oreo one. It's mostly working but there are still a few bugs that I'd like to fix before doing a proper release.Hi, does this work with PIE? Was trying to install, and it prompted that it only works for OREO.
Also, may I ask if the HDR applies to 4k60 too?
thanks for the reply!Pie compatibility is being worked on. The new camera app is pretty bad in terms of functionality so I'm trying to port the Oreo one. It's mostly working but there are still a few bugs that I'd like to fix before doing a proper release.
And no, HDR doesn't work in 4k60 as of the current version (that might change for the S8/N8 soon though)
The ROM doesn't have any native support for HEIC, so I'd have to write my own compressor, which isn't really worth it when I'm working with a camera app that already exists. I don't think Samsung Gallery can open HEIC either but I haven't tested that.thanks for the reply!
Just curious though - why do u say that the new app is bad though? The only missing thing is Pro video mode from what I can see.
Is it also true there is no OIS or EIS even in stock camera app for 4k60?
Lastly, any chance of introducing HEIC (high efficiency for JPG) for photos? Thanks much!
+1 ??️waiting for compatibility with 9.0
It does, but there's an issue where a visible ring appears around the image, so it isn't really worth it to go beyond. It's possible for me to enable even slower shutter speeds, but the ring ends up being the only visible thing at that pointDoes it really support 90sec exposure time in PRO photo mode?
